Used this filter around a lake with great results

I was surprised how much of a difference this deadcat makes for my Rode microphone, but we always have a little wind in Salt Lake City and this has made all those subtle wind sounds disappear!

This microphone works perfectly. Used it mounted within a movie set appliance. Powered by my TASCAM recorder. Perfect.

After searching a number of stores in my city and coming up with nothing, I went on-line to B&H and bought them. I figured that my local major electronic chain stores would carry them, but NO. B&H had them here in 3 business days. Remarkable.

If you are looking for your first hard case look no further. This was my first hard case purchase and I love it. Used it to travel from Sarasota Fl to N.Y. Held both bodies with battery grips my 70-200, 17-24, 85, and 50, plus my 2x extender 2 pouches w/nd filters and remotes. Plus my tripod bungled to the side. No problem carrying it on the plane or with security. Heavy? Yea a bit but protecting over 4 grand of gear worth every penny! Ps the wheels were fine, I know some reviews said they were not adequate I had no problem and was out every day shooting. And B&H is the place to shop hands down.

Great appliance to use as a music server.

Used this weekend at Donner Lake in Truckee, CA. No loss in sharpness. Since I was shooting mostly static images can't comment on speed of auto focus. Makes the 70-300 equivalent to a roughly 100-400 at considerable less weight and no noticeable loss of sharpness or IQ.

Used this last evening in the mountains to remove the glare from a small lake that had great relections of the trees at sunset. It maintained the colors of the sunset and cut the reflective shine to reveal the surface of the water. I was pleased with the results.

Used this for video shot on a lake. The difference in the blues was stunning, but more important was EVERY colour was truer than without this filter. In fact it almost looked a bit surreal as it took away almost too much of the glare.

After losing my Nikon AW100 in the lake, I bought a Nikon AW110 and this wriststrap before going to the ocean. Used it while snorkeling and in the pool. Worked just like it was supposed to and I came home with my camera! I only wished it came with a regular wrist strap to attach when not around water.
