For the price point this paper is superb for many high quality imaging applications. Used in conjunction with an Epson Photo 1400 and Epson inks for portfolio prints, it produced superbly detailed; spot on saturation, vibrancy and color rendering; tonal and line work.

Just like the other Nikon NC filters I own, this is a high quality product.

The Nikon Clear NC (no color) is exactly that. No color no distortion. Only protection.Look at all the Nikon big glass 200-400mm and 500mm and 600mm and you'll find NC protection threaded into the front element.Some folks bad mouth the use of anything in front of the element, but one slip, or one bad weather encounter and your high dollar Nikon lens is off to the service center for a very high dollar repair. A $ investment is a small price to pay on a lens that cost $1500.00 and up.My lenses don't leave home without it.

Good high quality filter that does not change the color of the light. I prefer NC to Skylight or UV filters Main purpose is to protect the front element of my new Nikon Lens.
