I love it! Used it to take some photos on Lake Michigan. It was so sturdy I had no trouble leaving my camera attached to get my jacket out of the car on a windy day. Very well built. Made in Holland and not China for a change lol. Slightly on the heavy side but very solid. I rather carry 1-2 lb extra but know I have a rock-solid tripod & head. The knobs are solid too. The fine adjustment knobs are not as consistently smooth when you rotate them. In some areas, it gets slightly harder than easier to twist. VERY slightly though. I'm just being very picky here. I used RRS BH-55 for many years and one of the reasons I moved away from a ball-head is because of the tone-tuning abilities when it comes to composing for landscapes. I would recommend this product even though I got it just now and need to test it in the field. thank you 5 |
