Used Appliances Lake Forest Ca

Used this weekend at Donner Lake in Truckee, CA. No loss in sharpness. Since I was shooting mostly static images can't comment on speed of auto focus. Makes the 70-300 equivalent to a roughly 100-400 at considerable less weight and no noticeable loss of sharpness or IQ.

Used it driving through beat up roads in a State Forest this weekend and it held perfectly. Surprised at the high quality of the head.

Used it with D600. Walked in the forest preserve near home for over an hour to take pictures of birds, all hand held. VR worked very well, and IQ very good. Weight is manageable and I am not a big guy.

Used this last evening in the mountains to remove the glare from a small lake that had great relections of the trees at sunset. It maintained the colors of the sunset and cut the reflective shine to reveal the surface of the water. I was pleased with the results.

Used this for video shot on a lake. The difference in the blues was stunning, but more important was EVERY colour was truer than without this filter. In fact it almost looked a bit surreal as it took away almost too much of the glare.

After losing my Nikon AW100 in the lake, I bought a Nikon AW110 and this wriststrap before going to the ocean. Used it while snorkeling and in the pool. Worked just like it was supposed to and I came home with my camera! I only wished it came with a regular wrist strap to attach when not around water.

Exceeded my expectawhentions when testing in the field. Took photos of a two ducks in a lake near our home. Used back focus techniques, 300mm F4 with 1.4 converter show wide open at F5.6 and ISO 400 to stop movement at 1200 and 2000 shutter speed.
