Very strong spring-loaded poles...been using these for years, in silver and black finishes. Adding Impact Super Clamps, various hooks and crossbars enable mounting of backgrounds, lights, EVEN HOUSE PLANTS! 5 |

I have used the Profoto Deep white L and XL for years. At about $430.00 I did not want to spring for a new Profoto Deep Silver XL. This does the job. It seems nearly as well built as a Profoto Deep XL It's an umbrella, they are all inherently fragile, The larger ones will sail in the wind outside. I expect this to last just like my other umbrellas. I use it with a D2 indoors and the light quality is everything I expected. It is soft when used in close with more specularity - sightly crisper highlights than a white umbrella. Is it the same control as a Broncolor Para or a Parabolix ? No, but it is a lovely light. For 70% of why people use those high end silver interior parabolic reflectors this kind of umbrella will do. 5 |

Standard gold and silver as expected. The spring of the ring is very tight, and provides positive feedback when opening. Handles are sturdy and are very helpful with opening/closing. 5 |

Used with Manfrotto 501 plates. Has spring, 3/8 and 1/4 bolts. Nicely machined, 5 |

I got this on sale last spring, but I would gladly pay full price for it. I used it every day while on vacation- what a lifesaver! I loved the weight distribution across both shoulders, and it was so handy having it readily available. The only thing I might change are the straps that attach to the camera. They work, but they're kind of bulky. Since I have 2 cameras, I got OpTech straps for my second one, and those don't stick out as much. Not a big deal-- I'd definitely buy this again. 5 |

I never really considered a macro lens, but this one went on sale for $99 and I couldn't say no. To my eyes, it is sharp and reasonably nicely built - like 25 and 45mm. I am experimenting with macro photography and like the idea of seeing small things big. Also, I am using it to photograph my medium format negatives sitting above my tablet running a flashlight app for illumination. I basically got a negative scanner that produces wonderful results. I invert the curves in Lightroom and do toning / curve manipulations in silver efex. I can resolve grain with Delta100 on 6x7 negatives, and the resultant prints with good paper are very close to traditional silver prints! So, it has many uses and fun to explore with!! 5 |

Even better than promised. Will try hooking it to my refrigerator. 5 |

Strong enough to hold up a refrigerator, I think. Fits perfectly, of course. 5 |
