The Samson Graphite 49 works splendidly as a keyboard controller for most DAWs, but I'm using it live with an iPad App called B3X. It is the best Hammond B-3 simulation I've ever heard. The Graphite's 9 sliders have a drawbar mode which essentially reverses the direction (i.e; pulling down makes the response louder), and the learning/setup mode makes programming a breeze. Along with my Samson Carbon 61 I now have a dual manual portable rig that sounds like the real deal. this controller controls EVERYTHING would need it to, and is a cobination of a GREAT midi controller for beats, and an EVEN BETTER control surface...the key for me is the LARGE FONT LCD....no more squinting with reason, i dont even have much need to look anywhere else, it almost feels like a stand alone device....AWESOME NEKTAR 5 |

I like this MIDI controller. It is unique and has capabilities not found with regular pitch wheel type actions. Great for synth sounds but also can be very expressive when playing modeled acoustic instruments. 5 |
