I have used this on male vocals and distorted guitars and found this to be a great asset to my mic collection. In tandem with my Cascade Fathead it provided the rich and vibrant tone I was looking for on guitars, and for the price you can't beat it.

I purchased this shock mount to use with a Cascade X15L stereo ribbon mic. The mount holds the mic securely and provides excellent isolation. The mic stays in position without the need to overly tighten the thumbscrew.

We recently added a few of these cascade 8 pin cables to our mobile rig in order to gain better control of our PTZ Optics cameras. We have been using the supplied IR remote control, but sometimes it was difficult to make it work because of line of sight and other factors. We bought a PTZ joystick controller and then wired up the cameras for control. Once it was set up, we had excellent control over the wire!

I bought this Cascade Fathead ribbon mic to use along with an Ear Trumpet Lab Louise condenser mic for recording our old-time string band. I am blown away by the sound quality of our recordings. We sit in a semi-circle and have the Fathead approx. 18 inch from the center instrument and the ETL condenser mic about an arm length behind the Fathead. Our recordings now have a nice full sound and I’m not having to EQ anything, just a bit of compression to tighten up the overall sound. I would buy again and definitely recommend for mixing acoustic instruments.

I just used this filter to photograph a small cascade on a mountain stream. The water came out smooth white while the background was exposed normally. I am going to have a lot of fun with this filter.

Very bright light. Uses up battery fast.
