I had purchased this to access my hard drives since purchasing a new computer with a NVMe M.2 drive and access my files, I have found more uses that make it even more handy to have around. I used the clone feature to make a copy of a hard drive on my original computer and then kept that nicer hard drive for my use before giving the computer away to a friend. I have several hard drives and didn't want to get another external case just to occasionally access a drive now and then. This allows me to store the drives and access only the ones I need. Bought a new computer with a 2Tb SSD and an empty M.2 slot. Bought this memory to add another 4Tb SSD. Installation was a breeze and only took maybe 15 minutes including watching a video on how to install. Used disk manager to activate it and it’s running great. I would highly recommend. 5 |
