I used this for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse in the US and it worked perfectly. Using f/32, 1/30th second shutter speed, ISO 125 with a 200 mm, I was able to get clear shots and even saw sunspots. 5 |

Using a Paterson cylinder the bottle appears to be 128cc, 4 1/2 imp fl oz or 4 1/3 US fl oz. Cap appears to be 6 1/2cc. Looks sturdy, should withstand drop onto hard floor. Intend to use it as a 1/8 litre part of a halving series of airtight Xtol containers from 1 litre down to 1/16 litre (makes more sense in US fl ozs) to refresh a working solution of developer, ideally eliminating need for a concertina bottle. 5 |
