Using A Motorola Radio

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

Using the case for a portable HF radio setup. I bought from B & H because of good price and free shipping. I have been using Pelican cases for all sorts of things for over 20 years and they are still the best - indestructible and waterproof. I like the roller wheels and the pull handle on these larger cases.

Using for a multi-camera setup on Rowland auto-switch for host and co-host of a radio show. Very good quality camera which is actually better than one I paid twice the money for.

Using the ATR1300 with a Radio Shack stand together with a Heil HS-1 PTT switch on a Yaesu FT-950 Amateur Radio transceiver with excellent results - especially on the wide audio frequency response settings (100-3000 Hz and 100-2900 Hz). Using only the '950's built in equalizer - no need for external components in the audio chain. Compared with a Heil PRO Set Elite, the ATR1300 wins hands down and costs a fraction of the price. Best $ I ever spent on any audio equipment !

Using this in my Yaesu VX-3 ham radio. It works just fine. Gives me good power for a decent amount of time, at a very good price.

Using these for ham radio in noisy outdoor portable conditions. These are very ruggedly constructed headphones with a metal headband very much like the old Pro 4A and Pro 4AA. Sound quality is very good, neither bassy nor tinny, very flat response to my ear. I would use these for music. As far as sound isolation, these are as effective as the best industrial type hearing protection I have worn, better than most, at least equal to or better than the best. The price is excellent, a great value.
