Great TV/Monitor, simple, Easy to use with my PC and phone

This is a terrific monitor and at a great price. Using it with an Intel NUC PC which conveniently mounts to the rear of the Monitor using the VESA holes.

We were hooking up an HDMI TV as a second monitor on a PC that had DisplayPort, this cable was perfect. It was the length we needed and avoided having to use an adapter from the DisplayPort on the PC to change to HDMI. Highly recommend use of this cable over a double ended HDMI cable and an adapter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my smart TV as a monitor for my PC, as well as a gaming display for my Playstation 4 and Google Stadia, my "virtual console" (which features 4K gaming for a fraction of the cost of traditional hardware, i.e. graphics cards, etc.). This TV surpassed even my wildest expectations, from sharpness and definition, to color quality, producing previously unknown levels of rich contrast, HDR color mode, for instance). You don't know what you're missing because you've not yet experienced it, in other words.

As an overall package, this is a fabulous television. Of course, being a 4K OLED set, the image quality is outstanding: wonderful colors, deep blacks, contrast and HDR support are all there. However, what makes this TV especially good is the image processing...the Sony processing is really smooth and clean; I haven't really noticed any noticeable image tearing, blurring or other artifacts at all. Which really helps with the main reason I bought this set: gaming and for use as a PC monitor. The fact that Sony puts such great tech into a 42" panel makes this a real game-changer for someone looking for a superior replacement to a dedicated PC/Gaming monitor. The rest of the TV's features are top-notch as well: the back-lit remote is well-made (metal!) and the built-in smart features/menus are very well implemented.
