5 stars! Stable and very easy to adjust level with slider on.

Does its job! Using for sending audio out of a headphone jack to a translator.

I like the clothespin style because I switch between standard, thinner mics like the 635a and VP64, wider barrels like the RE-50, tapered barrels like the SM57. I don't like to hunt around for the custom fit clip that comes with the mic. This Auray is cheap enough to buy in bulk and is made rugged enough to take a fall to the ground. The spring is strong enough to keep a mic from being knocked around.

Using in "great room" of kitchen for music and TV in a situation where a wires would look terrible. Good bass. pretty decent bass so don't need a separate subwoofer.

Using it for a TV without a headphone jack or volume control using a RCA cable Y-adapter. Works well. No complaints.

For under $30 this headphone is amazing. Not too knowledgeable on audio but the bass is solid, everything sounds great. Using it to DJ so haven't had it on continuously for a long time but so far no discomfort putting it on/off and it's not too suffocating either. Seems pretty sturdy too. Great if you're on a budget or not looking for something too fancy.

Using as an extension for my headphone, the quality seems very good. It is very long and its springy end reduce stress on my headphone side. The springy end has very good tension and won't easily get tangled like a telephone cord. Despite it is slightly thinner than a Lightning cable, the packaging also mentioned this is a shielded cable with 2 cores, should be good to maintain audio quality through its long length.

Headphones are used as monitors for vocalist singing and recording to a performance track. Using with a small headphone amp. Sound is clear and clean. Not too much bass, just good detail over the vocal range.

We have a high end A/V receiver with only one headphone jack, and two sets of headphes with different impedance levels. Using a passive splitter resulted in one set of headphones being much louder than the other. This amp is the perfect solution. Small (important in an apartment), does the job with no perceptable difference in audio quality, and way less expensive than comparable units. I also like that the output jacks are in front. Makes connecting and disconnecting headphones easy. We mainly use the unit for home theater after our little one has gone to bed, so we can enjoy movies and TV without waking her. The only negative, and this is purely subjective, is that I'd prefer knobs to sliders, but it's a minor quibble. Highly recommended.

I ordered this amplifier to amplify my Sony LCD TV that had no headphone jack. Using the low level audio out RCA jacks the Pyle PTA2 works wonderfully to allow me to use just headphones. Being hearing impaired it certainly saved the day. It is always nice to buy from B&H Photo.......Haven't found any cons with the amplifier so far.
