Using Desktop Charger Bad For Macbook Pro

Allows me to use my old MagSafe Charger with my 2014 MacBook Pro.

Do everything that do my MacBook charger, but this one is cheaper and more compact. One bad thing - can't change plug to european (apple's can), must use an adapter that is not so solid and handy.

For my macbook pro (15 and a 13) this stand works very well. I use it with a Cinema Display plugged into my mbp and with a wireless keyboard and mouse and this is an excellent desktop solution when you want or need to expand the use of your laptop to a desktop. Pros: *MStand puts the 15 mbp screen on the same level as my external display which is much preferred over what I was using before. *I also like, very much in fact, that the stand lifts the laptop off the desk entirely. I don't spill things on my desk but if I did, I know that my mbp is safe. *Constructed well, looks like an apple product - it just works A worthy investment - The stand makes using both displays easier. Very happy with purchase. Highly recommend.

I use the TS4 to connect my MacBook Pro M1 Max 64 GB RAM and 4TB storage to my desktop. This is not a technical performance review; this is how I use the TS4 for my specific applications and workflow. I need to transfer large files and use high-demand memory applications. I need this for video and photo editing and probably have products that many others would connect. I do not want to spend time connecting all my accesories when transitioning from desktop to road warrior. The CalDiigit TS4 lets me do it all plug and play. You are spending more on this unit but getting what you pay for. I continue to carry a mobile docking station for connecting accessories when on the road. Still, the only difference between using my MacBook Pro as a desktop or mobile is the ability to use all my accessories, and the CalDigit TS4 is the ticket. When returning to my desktop, I connect my computer to one Thunderbolt cord on the TS4 to get everything quickly connected, including; powering and charging my Mac (I keep the Mac power cord in my bag for traveling), 4K monitor, RODE podcaster, Black Magic video mixer, 2 X SSD Firewire Hard Drives, Bose USB powered speakers, HP large format printer connected by USB print cable, LAN connection for best network speeds vs. WiFi, Elgato Stream Deck XL, Ipad, and iPhone docking stations. I had no trouble connecting all of my devices with nothing weird going on. Everything worked, if not better, than if I directly plugged into my Macbook Pro. The TS4 is like an air traffic control tower for all my computer accessories. I should also note that the speeds of my SSD hard drives did not slow down when connecting through the TS4. I get great transfer rates and could not be more pleased with my purchase.

This is the second 2TB Sandisk SSD I've purchased. One is in my 2012 MacBook Pro and the newest in my desktop PC. They are fast and affordable. I highly recommend this SSD.

I used this to build a desktop setup for my MacBook Pro. It looks great and is designed to give your setup a uniform look and does just that. I like that I can fit a mini-sub under the stand. The only thing I wish i could do with this is adjust the height but I can just adjust my chair for that. Highly recommend this stand over others.

I just unpacked the little disk and plugged it into my MacBook Pro. It fit snugly into the SD slot, and the icon popped up on my desktop. I thought for awhile about a name and then came up with the name SpaceX since it gives me extra space. Yes, I know that the name is already taken by a company which has a new, inventive way of launching and landing space rockets, but it fits for me. I was concerned about the speed of transferring many files at one time or very large files; however, I was surprised at how fast my files transferred over to SpaceX. They transferred over amazingly fast. After using the 128GB JetDrive Lite 330 Flash Expansion Card for a couple of weeks, I am not even aware that it is inserted into the right side of my Macbook Pro. Its icon sits next to my hard drive icon on my desktop and provides me with all the space I need to offload files which accumulate on my desktop and anywhere else on my laptop. I love it! I wish that I had another slot on my MacBook Pro to buy another one which I would name SpaceX 2. This has been the best purchase for my MacBook Pro since I bought it several years ago.

I purchased the Mac Pro Desktop for editing, utilizing LightRoom, PS, and most importantly FCPX. Coming from a mid 2012 MacBook Pro with upgraded RAM and HDD, this machine screams. Important to note I chose 32gb of ram, 500gb SSD for OS and APPS, and the dual AMD firepro 700's. I have not had any issues and the launching, editing, and render times are incredibly fast, roughly about 10x faster than my previous MacBook.
