Using Digital Camera As Scanner

Using this splitter to send sdi camera signal to a digital recorder, monitor and streaming device. It performs flawlessly. Solid build as well.

Using this to digitize film with a digital camera. The light is evenly distributed, no hot spots, and the color temperature is right for the use I'm putting it to. Would buy it again, and would recommend it to others who might want to do the same thing.....

I was able to mount an old enlarger screw-mount lens onto my digital camera via the T-mount adapter. Using it with extension tubes gives a lot of flexibility for either duping slides or macro work. The T-mount adapter is simple, solidly built and well-crafted.

Using the tripod with my iPhone and a compact digital camera. Solidly built and does all I expected. And the price is low compared to the other models offered. No negatives to mention.

I bought this scanner to clean up a long overdue project of converting our family photos into a digital format. So far, I have converted approximately 1,500+ files...probably another 5,000 to go. The Epson V600 comes pretty much ready to go. You only need to install the driver and plug in the cables. Everything else is basically on autopilot. I have converted old photos files and 35mm slides. The entire process is time consuming, but technically very easy to accomplish. The results were better than expected. As my camera equipment improved in the mid 70's, consequently the photos were of a much higher quality and produced better digital files. It goes without saying...photos lying around in a box are not going to be seen by very many family members. It is my intent to convert all of my old photos into digital files that can be burn onto an SD card and displayed on digital photo albums. Great Christmas gifts. I did not shop around a great deal to compare this machine with others. I only went to Epson's web site to compare prices with B&H. I trust Epson products as high quality and B&H delivered on the best value. Thank you B&H. I would highly recommend this scanner for anyone interested in reviving the family treasure trove on old photos.

Works as advertized. Using on TW cable and I can get digital channels, too. A real plus.
