Using Off Camera Flash With Sony A6000

The Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for Canon Cameras (6.5)  allows me to set up my flash on a stand off camera and give me room to move around to compose and recompose my subject while keeping the camera to flash TTL communications available.  Great addition to my kit.

This flash is a good fit for Sony A6000 camera. It has good flash power (better than entry level flash), good size and fit for A6000, and all the features you want from your flash, including TTL, fast sync, etc. Highly recommend it.

I bought this combo for use with my Sony A6000. It works like a champ. Full control of the flash unit from the Commander on the camera. I bought 2 additional flash units and it's very easy to configure them all in one group, in two groups or in 3 groups from the camera. I use the flashed in modifiers like Apollo Orbs and soft boxes, so it is important for me to be able to control the flashes when they are closed up inside the modifiers.

Bought this camera as my second A6000 to travel with. Small size, large well-designed sensor, focus peaking and ability to use with my legacy Leica lenses and newer Sony and Sony Zeiss lenses make it perfect for landscape, portrait and street photography. No down sides found yet; with external flash can use off-camera TTL flash lighting to produce professional results. I am most impressed with this iteration of Sony's NEX/Alpha camera line; they hit a home run with the A6000 in my opinion.

My quest for a Off camera flash lead me here, after purchasing a different flash from a competitor of B&H, the gentlemen I spoke to at Yongnuo directed me here. their descriptions were accurate and after receiving the Flash, I was not disappointed! works well on both my EOS Rebel T7 and EOS Rebel SL3, I love the fact this has a built in bounce card and with a little practice ( I'm new with Flash Photography ) you'll be good to go in no time

The Vello Off Camera TTL Flash Cord works perfectly. Be sure to read the owners manual if you have not used an off camera cord before. The cord has to feed toward the lens side of the camera to match up the circuit connections. The 1.5 foot cord is fine with the Stroboframe flash bracket but a larger bracket might need the longer cord.

This lightstand is perfect for what I am using it for....Off-camera flash. It is lightweight, easy to fold and sturdy.
