I DECIDED TO BUY TWO WHEN I ORDERED, WITH THE INTENT OF USING THE SECOND FOR A MINI FLASHLIGHT WHEN I NEEDED MORE LIGHT WHEN IN THE FIELD. THE CONSTRUCTION IS SECOND TO NONE - VERY WELL MADE WITH A VERY STRONG CLAMP. DOES NOT MOVE FROM WHERE YOU FASTEN IT. THE OTHER END HAS NUMEROUS ADVANTAGES - WITH HOLD A FLOWER STEM WITHOUT DAMAGING IT - WILL HOLD THE EDGE OF A REFLECTOR - WILL HOLD A MINI FLASHLIGHT FIRM THIS CLAMP HAS PROVED INVALUABLE BOTH IN THE FIELD AND STUDIO.
