Using Underwater Camera For Ice Fishing

This product was ordered for my friend for ice fishing with his Aqua View underwater camera. He is happy with the purchase and says it was a great buy.

A must have if you're using an under water camera while ice fishing.

I got these for Christmas and had planned mostly to use them out in cottage country where cel reception is spotty. Used them when I was ice fishing and walking the dogs to communicate with my wife back at the cottage. Actual range in dense forest was about 1 mile, but on the lake ice fishing, I had perfect communications and did not reach their range. I even lost one while traversing a rough ice patch (fell and lost it) and found it 3 hours later after getting the other walkie and using the call feature! It survived a 3 hour freeze below a few layers of broken ice and snow at -11°C and still worked beautifully. Very happy with them!

This unit works great for ice fishing. It sits high enough where the motor doesn't get wet in the slush around the ice hole. Seem less ordering process and fast processing/shipping.

Took the Kanteen ice fishing with hot coffee at 6a.m. in my ice tent at -20 degrees F. At 8 a.m hot, at 10 a.m. still hot, at noon steamy hot, at 2p.m. still steamy, and at 4 p.m. last cup warm. Time to go home. Thank you for coming along Kanteen.

I do wet collodion photography and in the past have tried using an ice-fishing tent as my mobile darkroom, but it had no floor and wasn't designed for easy set up and take down. The Ilford Pop-Up darkroom can be set up in under 10 minutes and is truly light tight.

a must for a fishing camera will not be without one

I use three GoPro 8 cameras in our boat to capture different angles during our fishing adventures. Using The Remote I can activate record and stop all with the push of a button. It does sync to the camera's and on rare occasions it will lose the connection to one of the cameras. Reconnecting is quick and easy and pretty straight forward. I really like The Remote even if it has an occasional hiccup.

Using my iPhone 12 Pro Max in this underwater unit and works perfectly!

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.
