At the price you should have one of these. There are times when the wifi signal is a struggle in some places and the app is not able to be used. This works super simple and setting up the lights takes seconds. You cannot go wrong with this even if you have the app. 5 |

I needed a strong signal in my attached garage to control my garage door with the myQ app. This extender was easy to setup using the Tether app. Plugged into an electrical outlet inside the house, in a hallway adjacent to the garage, and there was a four-bar wifi signal in the garage. As a side benefit it also improve the wifi signal in the living room. Couldn't ask for a better set-up. Highly recommend. 5 |

One of the best investments I ever made. Using the RT-AX5400 as a repeater to not only connect to the WIFI available to me but it also increases the strength of the signal. 5 |

I live in a dense WiFi zone. WiFi Analyzer on my phone shows 20 networks. We're particularly inundated with signal from the school across the street. I had three TP-Link or Apple devices setup in the house and couldn't really get good signal from 20 feet away especially on 5GHz. I installed the Ubiquiti on the closet ceiling of the bedroom in the middle of the upstairs. The house is three stories, 45 feet long, 20 feet wide. Lots of old wire mesh in the walls from the days of plaster. The signal is now strong in every room and workable outside. 5 |
