Vancouver Central Air Conditioners

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!

I got this at below market value and it is absolutely worth it. it makes Grand Central look even bigger than it already is!

on a recommendation from michael at Tricera in Vancouver i tried this paper for the reproduction of original wet plate images. in my experience it's impossible to reproduce that 3rd dimension in the original plates on glass or aluminum. instead of pursuing what i saw as a dead end, i called michael and he walked me through the options. the hahnemuhle agave has given me another way of seeing the prints as i would like to see them represented in an approximation of the originals. what i love about wet plate is the imperfections. what i love about hahnemuhle agave is that it delivers that imperfection in just the right balance. also, it doesn't come from trees .
