After reading the reviews for the non HD version, I was hoping the HD version would be even better. I can't directly compare this one with the older model but the top ratings are true. I was surprised how sharp it was at 2.4 but by F4 I was amazed. I generally shoot landscapes so I couldn't decide if i really needed this since it's more of a portrait lens. I bought it as like new and so it was already a good deal then @ had their prime sale and I couldn't resist. It arrived sealed in the original packaging so was shocked it really was more or less brand new.The bokeh is excellent, much better than any other lens in my bag. This is my first limited lens and it lives up to the hype. Colors and contrast just look different from my other lenses. As with most lenses, I would say this is sharpest from F4-F16. Beyond F16 it softens up again but nothing to complain about. You really only notice it if you look at 100%. This and the Pentax K-3 are a great combo. Would be interesting to compare the pictures to the soon to be here full frame and see if you can really see a difference. I guess I'll never know as the full frame is more than I need. 5 |

This is my first digital full frame camera and the pictures are great. I am impressed with the color rendition even with an overcast sky. The camera is solid and well made and this lens has a good range with very sharp images. 5 |

For architectural and interior shooters with full frame bodies this lens will be a staple right next to the EF 15 2.8. Much improved for digital bodies in the corners with less vignetting and chromatic abberation. Heavy and easy to damage though not usually a problem on a tripod. Really expensive upgrade for what you get IMO as the old EF 14 2.8L USM was O.K. on film but really not a particularly great lens on a digial body. For digital you almost have to have the mkII version unless you are willing to carefully correct the chromatic abberations in LR or CS4. Pricey but if you have to shoot wide there is nothing else to compete with it for a full frame Canon digital body. 5 |

Before going 100% digital I shot Nikon F5 35mm film camera. I had a full complement of Nikkors including the 16mm 2.8 fisheye. When I went digital it was the APS-C cropped sensor that made the fisheye pretty much useless. So I sold it. Now, I am once more full frame with a D600 and D610. I wanted another fisheye and since it won't get the hard use of my other lenses and based on the B&H sales person's recommendation, I went with the Sigma which is considerably less expensive. As has been my long-time experience with B&H, the sales person was correct that the images are comparable to the Nikon. I am not suggesting that the Nikon and Sigma would be equal on an optical test bench. I am saying that in real-world photography, I don't see much of a difference. The Sigma is sharp, fast, and has the distortion you would expect of a fisheye lens. Some of that is mitigated by keeping the horizon centered in the frame. It is a fun lens and is surprisingly handy for candids in, say, a crowded space. 5 |

This is a great kit for cleaning you digital camera full frame sensor. There are step by step instructions to follow. Once you've cleaned the sensor one time, it is very to do. Unfortunately, all sensors sooner or later get some dirt on them. This is a safe way to clean your sensor. Very easy to learn to use. 5 |

I've purchased many cameras, lenses and accessories from B&H. I love my full frame digital Nikon which weighs about 5.0 lbs with lens. By the time I climbed to the top of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, the decimal point dropped out! This Sony is a wonderful side kick to my Nikon. I bought a second one as a Christmas gift. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t describe how delightful it is for me to look at this gorgeous, digital frame! For people like me, who is heavy into art it’s a miracle. I don’t have a tons of space to hang every picture that I love on my wall, but thanks to this frame I can enjoy every one of them and it makes me feel like I’m at the art gallery sometimes. The size of the frame is big enough to enjoy every detail of the picture, but not overly huge on the wall. It’s not heavy, so I can change the location where I want it to be. So far, I didn’t have any bugs or problems to set it up. Works really great, fast and doesn’t consume too much of WiFi. I love that depends on my mood, I can choose what I want to see at my wall, whenever I feel sentimental I put family pictures and it just warms my heart. I didn’t have problems with the app too. Overall, I think it’s unbelievable. This digital picture frame is everything and can fit it any design, I think I will never come back to simple picture frames after using this modern miracle. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful digital picture frame. It has exceeded my expectations. I love being to have the ability to easily change the pictures. It is quite heavy and required two of us to hang it and I made my husband triple check that it was hung well enough to prevent any falls. It blends in perfectly with the rest of my decor and is usually the first thing people notice when they walk in our house. 5 |

I use a Canon 40D which is not a full frame camera and this lens is for a full frame camera. With that in mind I was unsure how i would like the pictures. I do night club photography and with the crop frame it gave just enough effect but not over bearing to wear i could use the lens the whole night and not get tired of seeing the fisheye effect. its a fast lens, its noisy(loud) but that doesn't bother me fast focus and very clean. If you are looking for a lens that gets alot of people in the picture and you don't have a wide angle lens this is a great purchase to be able to stand close or a few feet away to give the effect of a normal picture or close up for the fisheye effect. I am very happy with this lens no regrets. 5 |
