Verizon Wireless 1Gb Data Plan

Skyroam device (Solis Lite) works where our Verizon data plan won't. The ability to use all major networks through Skyroam is a wonderful asset. This feature keeps us in touch while full time RVing , allowing us to e-mail, stream videos and use internet. 5 |

We purchased two of these switches to support a 1Gb Verizon upgrade at home. The first landed in the entertainment/AV cabinet feeding audio visual gear and the second setup to help support a security system. Most of the older devices were running 100Mb, and several of the newer devices, XBox, TVs, etc now have 1Gb built in NiCs, and older switches were limiting bandwidth. These 1Gb switches now allow the security system, XBox, TVs, etc to push 800-900 Mb/s stabilizing comms under load. In the AV block, there is normally only one device active, so it gets close to a Gb to the new Verizon router. The security system will shortly be upgraded as well, but currently runs on a 100Mb connection, so everything can run wide open through the switch to the router. Very pleased with the results and improved network stability. 5 |

We were tired of slow internet and new we wanted to go up to 1Gb internet speeds. Our previous netgear docsis 3.0 modem/router wouldn’t work with the gigabyte plan. When upgrading to docsis 3.1, we knew we would regret if we didn’t buy a mesh possible modem/router. Before we even upgraded our plan to higher max speeds, we saw an improvement in our internet. It was easy to install and the instructions were well written to help any skill level get their modem set up and wifi networks up and running. 11/10 would recommend. 5 |

We travel occasionally and having a pay-as-you-go per GB of data plan is very cost effective. So far the Solis Lite has worked everywhere we have taken it. And it is easy to use. Highly recommended. 5 |

If You plan to make a long run with video data you can't go with cheap insulated cable made in China as these cables are poor in quality when it comes to Cat 6. That is why I purchased a number of Kramer Cat6 HDBaseT Cable (Blue). Dont skimp on quality. 5 |

We live in an area not served by cable. With a T-Mobile sim and data plan, this device provides internet and streaming capabilities to our rural home. It was easy to set up and works great, out of the box 5 |

It is what was expected from the iPad model that has room to grow and can be linked to a data plan if required. It replaced an iPad 2 generation and can run everything that it needs for the family. 5 |

I’ve had the Mini 2 for a little over a month and totally impressed with its performance and use. I will say I have the unlimited plan as I’ve dropped some cellphone data coverage I no longer need. I do use the mini 2 in conjunction (In-Reach Linking) with my Garmin Rino 755t and has made texting easier. I am very comfortable with leaving my phone off (Saving Battery Energy) while backpacking/hiking off-grid countrysides. I hike allot of terrain off grid with cellular coverage so it’s a no brainer the plan I selected. One of the best features of the In-Reach Mini 2 in my opinion is battery life. Please read the plans before purchasing as you will be charged for pings and texts if sharing map data. Please read all directions before purchasing, Nothing is free, and highly recommend purchasing SAR Insurance. Not sure what Garmin has planned for future gear, but In-Reach should be in all their new GPS units, obviously excluding watches as they’re just too small. I will add that a few things to consider purchasing for easy access to the unit. 1) Garmin Spine Mount adapter (Needed for Backpack Tether/Additionally for accessory attachment kits also) 2) Garmin Backpack tether accessory Velcro Quick Disconnect (Pictured is my modified versions) 100% Satisfied Customer thus far :) 5 |

Working very well so far. 10gb ports mix seamlessly with other 1gb ports. 5 |
