Verizon Wireless Assistant Manager Job Description
Christopher | 2024-09-28 05:50:47 |
I work in a community small community theatre that has used Eartec wireless comms for years. They've been adequate, and having wireless comms is nice, but I missed the quality and clear sound that I was used to with ClearCom wired comms. I finally decided to pick up one of these interfaces and run ClearCom to the non-moving positions like light board op, sound op, and stage manager. It has been a fantastic improvement. The backstage crew and house manager still have the freedom to remain on comms while they move around, while the sound quality for cue calling from the SM to lights and sound has been much better. 5 |

Before finding this cable I had a manager of cables and adapters for connecting my wireless microphone receivers to the mini-XLR input jacks on my Red One cameras. This high-quality cable makes the connection much simpler and trustworthy. 5 |

Bought these for my office manager to sync with the work phone. Compared to other wireless products, this has no feedback, limits background noise, great sound quality, good battery life, and most of all, SUPER COMFORTABLE! 5 |

Makes your job easier to get done. I don't have an assistant so i use them all the time with the trigrip holder. 5 |

As an assistant camera, I add a lot of value to myself by including a wireless follow focus with my rate. I couldn't afford to purchase a preston or any sort of 3-channel system at the time, so I decided to buy the microRemote system so I could at least say it's an option. I was concerend about the previous reviewer's comments on wireless range, so I contacted redrock directly to see if they had any comment. They told me that all new units were now shipping with an upraded chip that gives a 1 mile line of sight range. I thought that was pretty ridiculous, but with that states spec I figured it would work for my needs. And it does. The new chip lets me go further than my Teradek wireless video signal will even go. I can blow through walls, houses, anything. I have yet to loose a connection, or even needed to change the channels on the back. The unit works great, and I ended up purchasing the run/stop cable for epic cameras so now I can trigger the recording of an epic/scarlet wirelessly, which is super nice. I really like the mapping feature of it as well, so even when I'm forced to pull focus on short-throw L-series lenses, the system expands the throw so I can actually make marks with the much longer through of the control unit. 5 |

I used the older Pixel Buds and while I loved them, there were some issues that cropped up with connectivity. I can confidently say that those issues have been resolved with these newer versions. Sound is amazing. I have a good size collection of wireless headphones/earbuds ranging from inexpensive to high end, and these are near the top when it comes to sound. This is great considering how inexpensive they are. I love them. Bass is punchy, highs and mids are crisp and clear. Music and podcasts sound amazing. I love the ease of connection to my Z Fold3, and the Google Assistant features integrated into them. I really enjoy that it will read me my notifications and it's super easy to reach Google Assistant. I will say that the only thing I wish it had was wireless charging, but I love that it's USB-C connection. Battery life lasts a long time and charging is quick. The case is nice and it's satisfying just opening and closing the case. Highly recommend. 5 |

The size, weight capacity, and multiple configurations make this a serious versatile assistant. First day on the job, I loaded in and out what would have four trips each time. Highly recommended! 5 |

When I was 17 I got my very first job as a camera assistant at a local TV station in Germany. They used heavy-duty Sachtler tripods and they sure took some heavy beating, but somehow always survived. I just received the 0375 FSB-4 today and I was surprised how well it was built. It seems that the people at Sachtler really put some thought into some smart and helpful features: You don't have to slide the camera plate back in for example - just drop it in, click, tighten, done. The tripod almost seems small altogether, but it's perfect for small(er) DV/HDV and HD camcorders. Above all: Excellent value. I'm sure I'll still be working with this tripod in 15 years. 5 |

The description mentions that the X-Tap and USB outputs can be used to power accessories simultaneously, but I worried that the regular battery power would not work when the USB port was enabled. Luckily they do! My field setup uses a wireless transmitter that also requires a powered format converter. So the battery powers the wireless transmitter directly and the USB connection powers the adapter. And both run simultaneously for more than three hours. Great purchase. (Will never use the X-Tap port so I can't comment on it's usefulness.) 5 |
