Verizon Wireless Block Internet Access

We are only a month in but I am really liking this way of doing our home wireless internet! 5 access points through the house are giving us great coverage. The other cool part is that with the software our guy installed we have a home network, a guest network and can build out more for other uses like a security camera system, one just for the kids devices (that we can then control the hours the network is on) and all kinds of other great features and reports. Not normal to do this for a house but I would recommend it... and these... to about anyone at this point! 5 |

I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs. 5 |

I want to start off by saying this is not a router so if you want to connect it directly to your modem look elsewhere. I upgraded from the original unifi access point to this one and it was a breeze to setup. Although setting up the controller software can be tricky to install on Linux but fairly straightforward on Mac and Windows. This device greatly increased my network speeds over my wireless network, I went from about 10 MB/sec to around 50 MB/s, but this was over my local network which is all gigabit in my house, internet speeds will vary depending on your internet plan. Before I used to hardwire my computer to transfer large files to my backup storage but now I can do it wirelessly in about the same time. Also another handy feature I found is you can scan the rf spectrum to see what other devices are causing interference and assist accordingly and also detect rogue access points that might be trying to fool devices into connecting to them instead of your network, all handy features if you want to run these in a business. Overall you can't go wrong with this device if you want reliability and a high performance access point and they are one of the cheapest but still perform the same as the high prices one. I would regiment to anyone looking for a great wireless network. 5 |

It’ll be great to clarify that it is not wireless internet! 5 |

I prefer this type of lens cap as it's easier to get on and off if you're using a lens shade that tends to block access to the front of the lens. 5 |

If you're looking for a compact smart plug that works with Homekit, look no further. Most competitors are clunky and block access to open outlets. 5 |

I use the I plate version on my OM-5 for a light kit. I don't use it with a tripod or capture clip. Comfort / usability: great. Super comfortable. I was worried it would slow me down in manual modes but it doesn't. I just keep my index finger free and only put my 3rd/4th fingers in the strap. It has a nice amount of cushion and flex. OM-5 fit: I plate fits great. Doesn't block the screen or SD card access. Does block the battery access but the included tool is really smart and convenient. Highly recommend for OM-5 users who want a light kit. 5 |

Added to iMac 2017 with relative ease. The only stumbling block was getting the button pushed in enough to access the memory compartment. The computer booted up instantly with the new modules, and speed is much faster now. 5 |
