Verizon Wireless Channel Support

We purchased two of these switches to support a 1Gb Verizon upgrade at home. The first landed in the entertainment/AV cabinet feeding audio visual gear and the second setup to help support a security system. Most of the older devices were running 100Mb, and several of the newer devices, XBox, TVs, etc now have 1Gb built in NiCs, and older switches were limiting bandwidth. These 1Gb switches now allow the security system, XBox, TVs, etc to push 800-900 Mb/s stabilizing comms under load. In the AV block, there is normally only one device active, so it gets close to a Gb to the new Verizon router. The security system will shortly be upgraded as well, but currently runs on a 100Mb connection, so everything can run wide open through the switch to the router. Very pleased with the results and improved network stability. 5 |

I own 1st version of this Rode Wireless and I film a lot to my Youtube Channel. But it was not enough for interview. Now there are totally new approach to it. Love it - Record channel separately for each transmitter and as a result two channel for each person - markers which you can match for perfect lip-sync with ability to put it manually - backup channel with 20DB less level in case of recording in wind (my case) Thank you for so professional system! 5 |

This is my new primary AP. I've run it for nearly 6 months without issue. It's the top tear WiFi 6 offering from Ubiquiti in 2023. It checks all the boxes with Upstream MIMO, WPA3, 2.5GbE wired uplink, and 6GHz channel support. The attached photo shows a device connected to WiFi6E achieving better than 1Gbps over wifi. Unifi automatically selects 160MHz channel width for the virtually untouched 6GHz band (as of summer 2023.) This let's devices cut loose even at 2x2 MIMO as shown. Other than performance that's frankly overkill for simple web browsing but most welcome during photo backup, it's very much a standard AP. It needs 802.11at POE and it's a little power hungry at 14W at rest. It will uplink at 1GbE if you don't have switch with multigig support. But then the Unifi 6 Pro is probably a better option for that use case. Unifi is a prosumer class enterprise networking solution. If offers single pane of glass management of APs, switches, and gateways. You do need a cloud hosted controller or a local controller (Unifi Cloud Key). You also need some intermediate level knowledge of networking. But it offers a powerful set of tools such as VLANs, considerable configuration flexibility, and frequent patches and security updates. I've been using Unifi since 2018 and am very pleased with the performance and price point 5 |

It's a bit daunting to use at first, but within minutes I had support via Bome's Youtube channel. I've only scratched the surface of the complexity of what's possible and I think this will serve me well into the future for building out/refining workflows. 5 |

I purposely purchased this stand to support a small 10-channel mixer. The mouse tray nicely holds a small reverb unit. I am most pleased with the sturdiness and construction of this stand. I highly recommend it for both small mixers or laptops. 5 |
Channel 70 Productions | 2024-04-22 03:20:16 |
Channel 70 Productions needed a stand to support a heavyish light mounted on a short boom. Our other stands required tossing on a few sandbags to keep everything stable, but not the Impact stand. It's a pain to haul around because of its weight, but the Impact stand gets the job done. 5 |

Initially had a few setup and reliability problems on my home wireless as I had non standard channel & bandwidth settings. I also had a false expectation that the Sonos would be 5GHz compatible. All brilliant now though after I stabilised my wireless network. Home to add to the collection next year!. Music quality is great ! 5 |

If you have the DUAL channel Sony wireless receiver, this is the hot shoe adapter you need, the version WITHOUT the D on the end the model name, will not work with it. 5 |
