I used previous versions of this particular lens and was slightly compliance because the focusing speed over night event but after i got this second version wow amazing de fast auto focusing system, the sharpness of the lens and the quality of the body just stunning.

Hesitated for a while but finally got it and I'm traveling with it right now. Sturdy, light, and most importantly, in compliance with airline's requirements for weight and dimensions. I carry photography equipment and finally feel it's protected during transit. Lifetime warranty from manufacture. Can't go wrong with that. Great investment.

This product "tells" devices (ie: Apple laptop products) that automatically transmit an HDCP compliance tag (when it is NOT needed) to turn off this VOLUNTARY HDCP Encryption when outputting non copyright material - ie: the UI or PowerPoints, etc.. To the negative review headlined "Works...Sometimes" -- the reason it did NOT work with the BluRay/DVD device is that this device is outputting a mandatory HDCP compliance tag that cannot legally be turned off. Even if the Blu-ray/DVD player is not playing copyright material it probably is not sophisticated enough to differentiate between the two and turn off HDCP encryption.

In my work as a Legal Video Specialist, I serve as an officer of the court when shooting depositions. The witnesses give sworn testimony that must be precisely preserved for the judge and jury in a court case. There is no time for a take two. For more than 10 years I have relied on Transcend's 800x 64GB CompactFlash card as my primary recording medium. I have always found the Transcend CompactFlash cards to be less expensive, more reliable, and consistently a superior recording medium than other brands. Not long ago, I tried another brand and it bit me... hard. Instead of simply transferring the data files to my computer for processing, I had to fall back to my HDV tape backup, a process that meant going over two days of deposition several times... real time. I've now got a couple more Transcend cards as backups and expect few problems from here on. I am really glad B&H introduced me to Transcend and their great memory products!

These just work. Great for splitting hdmi signals. I use in court playbacks and at home.
