Verizon Wireless Data Hub

Skyroam device (Solis Lite) works where our Verizon data plan won't. The ability to use all major networks through Skyroam is a wonderful asset. This feature keeps us in touch while full time RVing , allowing us to e-mail, stream videos and use internet.

Finally an USB hub that really works, no slowing down of data. Great connection.

It doesn't require an external power source and it's powered by USB-C (to the host) when it's connected to the host. I would recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this strictly as a charging hub, and it has changed my charging habits for the better. I no longer need three separate chargers on a power strip to keep my devices charging simultaneously. It has made keeping things charged a breeze due to not having to wait for one device to charge before I can charge another. I have also used it to transfer data from my external ssd drive to my laptop and from it. Fast charging is superior as is data transfer speed. All of this comes with a very small footprint and a sleek form. I would definitely purchase this again. (incentivized campaign)

I had originally asked if this adapter would pass all data, etc and work with a USB hub or dock. Once I had this adapter, I ordered a dock. I am using a HyperDrive 12 port hub/dock. I have used several of the ports and the speed is fast! This adapter works as listed. I am using with a MacBook Pro. The connection is USB 3.0 to the Angelbird adapter to the HyperDrive. Thanks for the input of those that answered my original question.

The 7 port USB-C hub (USB-C to 5 * USB-A and 2 * USB-C works well when plugged into my laptop and it has USB 3.0 for fast data transfers. When you lift the hub you can feel the quality of the device and this will definitely be a permanent product in my travels to satellite offices. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

The powered hub is fine for portable hard drives and they work well. A non powered hub would cut out and disrupt data flow. The right angle power plug was not needed and gets in the way.

When my Blue Yeti Nano mic would only work directly attached to my computer, not to either name brand powered USB-3 hub, I started looking. This hub appeared and reviewed as the real deal. I didn't recognize the brand, enough reason for justifiable fear on Amazon, but B&H knows their stuff, so I bought two. The metal case is miniaturized quality on par with enthusiast stereo equipment. I like the on/off switch though I'll never use it. The included cables for both USB-3 and USB-C computer ports are high quality and a nice touch. Many USB-3 hubs include high-powered ports that don't support data. These Xcellon high-powered ports do support data. I was ready to return my Blue Yeti Nano mic, but I took it back out of its box for a test, and it worked flawlessly from an Xcellon high-powered data port. I fell in love with the mic, too, so I'm keeping everything. One should really look at B&H before/instead of Amazon. And Xcellon is a name brand now, just new on the block. They've really thought this hub through; it's worth every penny.

Add more USB ports. Data transfer is faster then expected when connected to this Hub providing its connected to 3.0 port on PC or laptop. Again; small footprint. Fits in your pocket easily. It's much smaller then a smart phone.
