Verizon Wireless Del Monte Center

I am using this in the style of Monte Zucker for portraits and tight group shots.

Lo acabo de recibir y lo monte en un trípode Gitzo GT3542 Mountaineer...y estoy impresionado, se siente firme y muy estable. La construcción es excelente, creo que tengo Gimbal, para muchos muchos años. Es ligero, llegue a pensar que era pesado, peor no lo es. Lo recomendaría mucho a los fotógrafos de naturaleza que le apuesten a la estabilidad y quieran cargar menos peso!!!

In 1972 Monte Zucker, who introduced slave triggered off-camera flash with on-camera fill hired me as his apprentice. His trademark style was based on color wedding photos with a full range of detail and studio like lighting which he accomplished with a flash for fill over lens and heads of subject overlapped with in identical off camera flash positioned 45° to the side of the nose of the subject. I’ve used a bracket like this with every digital camera I’ve owned since 2000 and on every Canon body since 2004 with a DIY scoop diffuser. It creates a flattering “butterfly” pattern when used by itself and creates centered neutral fill when used in conjunction with an off camera key flash. A caveat about the cold shoe. It can tear-up the plastic foot the flash so it best to replace it with TTL off-camera cord or a wireless transmitter. I added arca-swiss clamp to mine to make mounting and unmounting the camera easier.

Many years ago I bought 2 Monte Zucker Pneumatic Posing Stools. We used them when we needed extra stools at the table. The grandchildren loved them and felt fortunate when they were able to lay claim to them. Recently a granddaughter needed a desk chair and I was delighted to find this at B & H, at a very good price. This uniquely shaped case houses our event center's four wireless microphones & receivers. Setting up the interior take a bit of time to get it just right, but the process is straight forward. One tip: consider gluing the foam layers together for a better fit and greater longevity. I had considered a Pelican Storm for the different latches, but no regrets with this case from the standard Pelican lineup. You won't be disappointed.

I use these in a performing arts center with a Sennheiser wireless system. They work so much better than lavaliere mics, due to their closer proximity to the mouth. Hardly any EQ is needed to get them sounding loud and present. Their tiny size truly makes them nearly invisible on stage. I have used these for years and keep buying them, despite other options that have cropped up in the last few years, Countryman has given me no reason to switch.
