I bought this lens for an upcoming trip to Italy and Greece. I needed something to cover pretty much all eventualities and the 28-400 seems to fit the bill. I ran some test images, and my wife used it for some shots at a Little League game, and it is acceptably sharp at all focal lengths. At 400 mm, it is definitely sharper at f/11 than at f/8 but still very usable. I am planning on using it in good light - and the Nikon Z7ii handles high ISO very well - so I am not overly concerned about the 'slowness' of the lens at longer focal lengths. Overall, and at the price point, it seems like Nikon has a winner with this lens. 5 |

I bought this filter for our upcoming trip to Greece so I haven't used it for what it is intended for. I have tried it out where I live and the sky looks so much better with this filter than it does with out. I can't wait to take photos in Greece after trying it out here. 5 |
