We use the Sennheiser wireless system for our News & Weather, and all of our commercial gear (12 sets so far). Though its a great system, the microphones seem to fail very quickly, at least for us. These replaced the original mics and have served us flawlessly. 5 |

I do commercial training videos with a relatively light LUMIX FZ2500 and either a wireless lavalier setup or a RODE videoMic, as well as Manfrotto 128RC QR head, and I just needed something substantial, stable and center-braced. This is perfect. For stills, travel and lighter shoots I have other tripods, but this has already paid for itself in one client shoot, where I needed to move several groups in and out in front of the camera while the back ground remained absolutely static. Its a rock, or at least rock enough. 5 |

Rush Videos uses the boom mic for commercial interviews when don't want to use a wireless mic & chance it showing up in the video. The unit is very easy to assemble & break down. The only negatives are it doesn't come with a carrying bag or a mic holder. 5 |

I use the mic with a Lectrosonics wireless transmitter for commercial and short film production. I have purchased a few of these mics for different production companies I work for, and have always been impressed with its performance in the field.
