The best wireless microphone for my iphone. Recommended.

Good little carrier.

I have a RØDE Wireless Go (wireless microphone) that I use with my iPhone, iPad, DJI Osmo Pocket, and Nikon Z6 camera. As versatile as it is, I also wanted to be able to use it with my RØDECaster Pro and my Zoom H6, both of which have XLR jacks to record individual audio tracks. That’s where this RØDE VXLR+ comes in — it just allows me to connect a mic with a TRS jack to an XLR input. It’s basic, and it works. RØDE makes great products, including this one.

Fantastic product. Very easy setup and update for the units using an app on my iPhone. Mesh units quickly recognized the main router and started working. Took some spotty network coverage to a solid network! My favorite thing about this version of AmpliFi is being able to set 3 levels of QoS. This allows to give priority to the important devices on my network, like my wife's laptop who works from home, and deprioritize the kids tablets. Works like a charm!

The firmware update process was easy, just go to Rode's website. Set it up to work with iPhone 12 and it's been amazing so far. IMPORTANT: You should know Shotgun mics to not pull sound from long distances, they block sound coming from the sides. The controls are great, and Rode has some simple short videos explaining them. The safety track is so cool, the ability to directly monitor the sound levels, the easy frequency amplifications/cuts. I'm not a pro but this mic makes people think I am. And that is what is most important..... /s

Every time I update my iPhone or iPad I go with this model case. After three years iPhones and iPads are like new.

I use an Elinchrom EL Skyport triger which has the ability to control the lights from my camera. However, the Skyport requires a number of button pushes to adjust several lights. Ok, I'm whining. The bridge let's me adjust four groups of lights (in my case four lights) with an easy iPhone touch control. The one small ding on the device is that I had trouble getting it to initially sync up with my iPhone. After a good bit of fiddling, I followed the instruction to first update the Skyport Bridge software. That did the trick. I'm surprised, but probably shouldn't be, that manufacturers sell a product that needs an update right out of the box before it will perform a basic function. As I said, it's a small point.

There is no better protection for your expensive iPhone and or iPad. Every time I update my device, I have an otterbox ready for it to go inside of before it is even purchased. Because my previous devices were so well protected, I was able to get top dollar when selling the old device. It is an investment.
