Got tired of using the router/WAP that Verizon gave me a few years ago. This thing is blazing!

Great wireless follow focus system. I just wish the manual was a little more user friendly. But slowly working my way through trial and error. I have not yet been able to sync this to my camera with BT for rec stop, but thats very much a me-issue. Like I said, I wish the manual was more 'first time wireless follow focus dummy' - proof. If i had one comment, it feels like the wheel is more designed for right hand. I wish the buttons and screen were somewhat ergonomically placed for when handheld shooting, but thats just me.

The remote connected immediately as per camera manual instructions (OM-1). Works well, both wireless with OM-1, and wired to OM-D mk II &III. The wireless works at least 25 feet (not exact measurement). When using wired, be sure to assign video release to the main shutter button instead of the red button which is factory preset. Select video mode on the top dial. Wonderful accessory.

I have to give it five stars as it works well and I can buy four of them for the cost of one OEM flash (which I did). It's a manual only flash with wireless control capability. But then, don't all real photographers use manual mode:)?

I have been testing the Rode Wireless GII for to improve the audio on my inexpensive Canon Video Camera. I am impressed with the sophisticated controls on this remote microphone. Operation of the mikes are not necessarily intuitive, so it is important that you go online and thoroughly read the operations manual. After a little trial and error with the device and the manual, I am excited at how well it improves the audio on my camera. Well worth the money.

I got this manual remote since my wireless remote attaches to the hot shoe, and I wasn't able to use the wireless when there's a flash attached. I find that rather than reaching for the wireless remote, I use this one instead, most recently for sunrise/sunset photos, and for manual exposures of the milky way. It gets the job done.
