This is exactly what a mic stand should be - feels solid and holds still. Hasn't budged since I set it up with a SM57 next to a Mesa cab. It's worth paying a bit more than the cheaper low profile mic stands. 5 |

I use this mic in front of my Mesa Lonestar to get my guitar through our band's PA. Of course, the exercise of micing an amp takes a bit of trial and error regardless of which microphone you buy, but once I found the sweet spot, the e609 did the rest. Through the PA mains (and through recordings), I've come to find the representation of my amp's tone is very true and clear. I'd totally recommend this mic to anyone looking to get their guitar transmitted through their sound system. I'd buy another one of these in a second; all I need is another amp =) 5 |

I'm so happy that I was able to purchase the ProX XF Mesa when I did. I've played on it once a year ago at a high end venue and was hooked. Both my DDJ-SZ & Rane 12's/72 fit when I play on either. I bought this to replace the 3ft xlr power cable for my Mesa Boogie quad preamps fu2 footswitch. It does the job perfectly in comparison to the 3ft one bc not all the switches were synced w the quad when activated. I would highly recommend this for quality (so far)and price beating out another site by half. 5 |
