I have had this system for two weeks now and it's everything I've ever wanted in a wireless setup and more. I feel like Rode really listened to their customers and delivered an affordable wireless mic system that is compatible with a variety of recording methods. The sound quality is crisp and clear and packs even more of a punch when you attach a lav to the transmitters.

I've installed 5 of these for different customers so far and they are always blown away by how much better their wireless is, both in coverage and throughput. Most clients have a 240/12 mbps internet connection, and when in the same room customers can easily get that over WiFi.

I operate a home-based PC repair business and have occasion to setup networks for customers in my community. This is a great basic router for many of my senior clients who only have one computer and just need an inexpensive router for wireless access. I also have set it up as a wired hotspot (disabling the DHCP) for customers who have large homes or a shop attached to their house where the primary router doesn't get good wireless coverage in a given area. It doesn't give blazing fast wireless speed, but they do hold up to electrical storms pretty well (we are in the country and power flickers are common with our electrical service). For the price, I think their great.

Product was easy to set up. This was a replacement for an existing wireless network; the network set up was working internally right out of the box but I had no internet access; there was some trouble with my modem recognizing the new router. ASUS tech support was easily reached (on hold 2-3 minutes or so), and the tech was well-drilled in troubleshooting procedures. They correctly determined the issue with my modem and recommended steps that fixed the problem. Love the Powerline connection between the two units! Great range, even reaches outdoors.

We got these mainly to use as XLR cable replacements, to be able to do a simple wireless setup with our existing shotgun mics and booms in certain run & gun situations. We've also used them to create wireless roaming mics with our cheapo PA kit. So far, they have worked as advertised, and they've been great. Brainlessly easy, and reliable sound. We're careful to bring cables just in case we run into wifi or cell interference, but so far that has not been an issue at all for the various shoots we've done.
