Verizon Wireless Poor Signal

I have a standard Verizon router/WAP that could not provide a solid signal to more than half my house.� Bought this because I have seen them used at my church.� I connected it to a switch off my router, passing through the included PoE injector (power supply), to a central point in my house (56' long).� Because it uses PoE, it is easy to install almost anywhere...where ever one can run a CAT5 or CAT 6 cable.� I had thought about installing a120VAC outlet in a closet to move my Verizon router/WAP closer to the center of the house, but this was a lot easier. Installed and ran the control software.� I have some familiarity with such things, and found it to be straight forward to set up.� Took maybe 10 minutes.� Left my Verizon WAP running and have had no interference issues.� More than adequate signal throughout the house.� Now I'm a hero :-)

You do not need to match your cell provider . Reason for the two is off you have signal from Verizon in your hunting spot and not At&T but the Verizon one . The camera send to the app on your phone no matter who your provider is . Was very easy to set up , I watch a YouTube video first . The pictures on your phone will not look the best quality, but when you down load the SD card they are very clear and good . It will take and save pictures even if you lose cell service. BH photos had the best price and I had my camera in 3 days ! Buying a second one before season starts . Don’t hesitate to try one . No fees and you can go month by month if you want . Mike

The wi-fi signal in my residence via standard equipment provided by my cable company was poor. Streaming Netflix and other sources was impossible except in close proximity to the provided router. So I did a lot of research on higher performing equipment online and selected the Netgear Orbi Mesh System. This system was easy to set up and performance has been truly outstanding from day one. That is why I offer MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION for this product!

My house has always been a bit tricky Wi-Fi-wise. This AP fixed that. I have 2 of them. One is running POE at the switch and the other is connected (mesh'd?) to the first one. Bam! All dead spots filled. The App showed that one of my TVs was getting a 'poor' signal so I checked with my daughter and she said that she had no buffering or dropouts. Apparently the AP22 with a poor signal is better than any other solution I've tried. Also Wi-Fi 6 is great. It's not mind-blowing fast but it's so fast that you don't even think about it... I guest that is mind-blowing. I do a lot of online gaming. This fixed all of my NAT issues for the first time ever. It no longer seems like I'm the only person playin CoD. Guest network control is pretty awesome. I generally keep it turned off, but if people come over I use app, turn it on, and everyone can log on easily. It's pretty cool. If I had any complaint it would be that POE seems to be SLOW to start, it takes a long time to boot the AP, but I don't know if that is the AP or POE in general.

I can't say enough positive things about the Hello Wireless ShutterBoss 4.0. The wireless signal is strong even in my studio with a ton of potential wireless interference. The LCD display is large and very easy to read. The backlight (although green) makes it easy to read the display in near dark conditions. I love the ease of use however I do which that in order to trigger a long exposure on my Canon EOS-R I didn't have to change my camera from Manual to Bulb. However this is not a major problem at all. I was able to get it out of the box and fully understood in less than 5 minutes. [I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion].

I have a Sony wireless lav and have gone through 2 Sony lavs due to the poor design of the cable going into the connector. Talked to a B&H audio consultant on the phone and she suggested the B3. Definitely seems to be a lot stronger at the connector.

I recently discovered Ubiquity Networks products due to poor performance of all in one routers for wireless capabilities. These are by far want I wanted to isolate wireless performance and settings and provide complete extended coverage throughout my property.

I've found this recorder is much more useful than a wireless lav setup since you don't need to mess around getting a signal into your camera. On a full battery you can record all day. As a director I use a loud whistle, hanging around my neck, to signal the beginning of a scene. These spikes in volume are easy to spot in DAW or a video editing timeline.
