I was looking for a better shutter release, something wireless and not line-of-sight like infrared (IR) devices. The Free Wave works great on my Sony a6000, around corners and through walls from a safe distance. 5 |

The wireless remote is the one I should have order earlier. I can be inside a building looking out and have use the remote to operate the shutter release. You do not have be in a line of sight. In addition, I can use it as a wired remote. The options for timed, etc are very handy. 5 |

Vello FreeWave Plus Wireless Remote Shutter Release is a must-have. At yearly reunions, being the family amateur photographer, I'm rarely in the snap. Was shopping for a new lens and found this little gem. So easy to use and it works well. 100% accurate for focus & shutter release. So many possibilities with the wireless S-release. I got the Vello FreeWave Plus Wireless Shutter Release for my Nikon Z7. I just used it recently for night photography and it worked very well. I set the shutter release on Bulb and timed the shot and it worked with no problems. You need a shutter release if you don't want to have any vibrations in the camera. Even touching the shutter on a long exposure will cause an out of focus shot. That's why a remote shutter release like the Vello FreeWave Plus is necessary. 5 |

Shure's SLXD wireless line represents a major improvement. More frequencies, Wireless Workbench, great stability & sound quality. The bodypacks seem to be fairly power hungry, but good batteries can last the whole day. Supply chain issues stunted the rollout of the SLXD line. If you can find them, buy them! B&H seems to have stock when others are backordered. 5 |

Very happy with the FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release!! Used it as a wireless and as a wired shutter release to capture the sunrise over a few hours time. It definitely made the difference!
