I got the Vello FreeWave Plus Wireless Shutter Release for my Nikon Z7. I just used it recently for night photography and it worked very well. I set the shutter release on Bulb and timed the shot and it worked with no problems. You need a shutter release if you don't want to have any vibrations in the camera. Even touching the shutter on a long exposure will cause an out of focus shot. That's why a remote shutter release like the Vello FreeWave Plus is necessary. 5 |

Very happy with the FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release!! Used it as a wireless and as a wired shutter release to capture the sunrise over a few hours time. It definitely made the difference! hold it down in there. hold it all down. aunt suzie or grandpa jack could knock it over and then you are out thousands of dollars they could fall and you have a liability case on your hands better to just hold it down. and use lots of bright colored caution tape. 5 |
