The camera is amazing. Next level camera for me coming from a Canon 7D Mark II. This camera has great autofocus and the features seem to all be excellent. I have had this camera for less than a month and I don’t have any complaints. I will point out some amazing strengths (which aren’t the only strengths).. great focusing, amazing video quality, and updated tech such as WiFi/touchscreen/GPS. Do listen to other reviews if you want details about the tech or features..I am just going to say this camera has excellent power and functionality. I have yet to discover or use all the features but I am thrilled by it.

These different strengths of diffusion are great for closeups and your mediums. The closer you get, the stronger your softening should be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flashlight is awesome! My favorite feature is that it has three different strengths of light that you can choose. The brightest LED is 320 lumens and is super bright, it really lights up an area. Also, it is waterproof, and crush proof so perfect for anywhere you need it.

The 1/8 Strength Hollywood Black Magic Filter is the foundation to any good kit. (1/8th strengths are the building blocks to any filter, with the exception to Radiant Soft Series filters - there you want to start at a "1" and work your way up). This 1/8th Hollywood Black Mist (HBM) filter is a rockstar. My other filters talk about it when I put it to bed and close the latches on my filter case. Every cinematographer that owns their own filters should have this filter in their kit. Don't mess around and chew the eraser of your pencil while thinking about cheaper brands that offer something similar. Clients and directors know the Schneider brand and you should too. With that said, get your life together and add this to your collection. If you really want to go nuts, get the 1/8th & the 1/4 strength filter. I personally have the previously mentioned strengths AND the 1/2. Between you and me, the 1/8th filter is usually always in my matte box and I don't think I've ever used the 1/2 HBM, but hey, I have the option. www.powersfilms.com

This lens adds power to the DX1's strengths as a candid camera. The lens, for me, has performed beautifully, and much better than reviews that I have read. It's just small enough to get into a large pocket, so it helps you carry the camera around and take more picures than you otherwise would. You get the creative advantages of W/A and the candid/ portrait advantages of mild telephoto.
