Vertical Alpha Shift Computer Monitor

My hands are a little too big for the body of the Sony Alpha 7 III R, with the vertical grip attached the camera is complete: the additional battery doubles the shots, vertical shooting is better too and the distribution of weight between the lens and body is much better. Very solid and easy to set up and level the camera. The shift of the center column from vertical to horizontal is impressively easy. Because the head adjustment handles are compact the quick release plate must be rotated 90 degrees and the camera remounted to do a vertical shot but that is not surprising in a compact head. This is my 3rd Manfrotto Tripod and I am completely satisfied. I carry it on a Lowepro backpack camera bag and it is not cumbersome at all.

Love L-brackets for the quick shift between horizontal and vertical and for holding the camera near the sensor's nodal point for panoramas. This fits my D750 like a glove, leaving easy access to all the little doors covering the battery compartment, usb, microphone jack, etc. and feels sturdy.

Really Right Stuff allows quick shift from horizontal to the vertical for landscape photography. I have had problems with L-plates for 6D and 70D as the plates hinder access to remote cable ports.

I replaced a previous Home Cinema model and this unit is excellent. The vertical shift is amazing and the image is super clear. I love the built in Android TV and the two way audio. The unit has an amazing throw distance and is great for large rooms or rear shelf mounted application. Very few projectors offer what this projector offers at such an attractive price point.

Easy to install, vertical and horizontal shift make it super simple. Clear and crisp 4k video. Cooling fans are quiet and love the black design (blends right in). Was thinking of getting the HT 3550 but so happy I got this one instead. Projectors are an investment and I'm looking forward to the years to come with this amazing new addition to my home theatre!

I shoot architecture for Real Estate. I was using my 7D with a 10-22mm lens, which gave wonderful results. However, 50% of my shots included way too much ceiling or much to wide a photo just to get the peak of the roof in the photo. It is now my backup setup as I've upgraded to the full frame 5D Mark II to match up with the 17mm TS lens. Here is my steps for others new to the lens: 1. Level the camera. This is critical so that vertical lines are vertical, which is a mark of a real pro. 2. With the TS at zero for tile and shift, set your exposure. Once you shift +/- of zero, the exposure may change. 3. Focus (the lens is not automatic focusing. 4. Shift the lens for the composition you want and take the photo. Focusing is critical and therefore using Live View and 10x zoom to judge when it is focused is extremely helpful. I have a rule that the cap is replaced after every shot as the bulbous lens is very unprotected. Great investment that should serve me well for many years to come. Or at least until an automatically focusing version is released.

Love the computer so far but never got the monitor.

Got to power alpha key outputs from a program called ProPresenter into Blackmagic switcher. Setup and install was easy. Card outputs don't display as external monitors on windows. Does not effect function. The card does not come with a screw to attach it to the computer case. Shouldn't be an issue if you have the computer case accessories. Only wish it did 4k.
