Best vertical mouse ever.

Probably the most comfortable mouse on the market. Even more ergonomic than Logitech's vertical mouse but at almost a third of the price.

A vertical mouse is substantially more comfortable and greatly mitigates wrist and arm pain sustained using a regular, horizontal mouse over extended periods. This is a very good mouse. It feels higher quality, more comfortable, and more accurate than lower cost vertical mice I have used, although the Kensington brand vertical mouse is a close competitor at roughly half the cost. It was very easy to make the transition from horizontal to vertical form factor, becoming transparent and intuitive within two days heavy use. There is minimal adjustment of speed and reassignment of button purpose using software provided on Logitech's web site - but I prefer to keep it simple and use the driver that is already provided by the operating system. Either way, you have two cursor speeds using the on-mouse speed button (on top of the mouse handle) which can also be varied within the OS, itself, so it is plenty flexible right out of the box. Not cheap, but quite effective mitigating wrist and arm pain sustained using a regular, horizontal mouse over extended periods. I am well pleased with this purchase which arrived quickly and safely from B&H - as always. JR

A vertical mouse is so much more comfortable for me. I’ve had great luck with Evoluent mice. The button set up is intuitive and configurable.

This Lift Vertical Left Handed mouse fits my needs perfectly: great design, quality made, right size for left hand (I am 5'4 male, 140 lb. with regular hand size.) The moment I inserted Lift mouse's USB-A adapter to my iMac 21.5 2017 model, without needing any additional app. installation, it works right away. I am right-handed. I used to use Apple Magic Trackpad with my left hand just to train my left hand, and Logitech MX Vertical Right Handed mouse with my right hand. After more than 6 months, my left wrist started hurting, so I switched the MX Vertical to my left hand and Apple Magic Trckpad to my right hand; My left wrist pain was gone, but using the MX Vertical Right Handed mouse with my left hand was quite awkward: The scrolling wheel, the left and right buttons are not designed for the left hand to use. I am right-handed, but I always use my left hand to do some non-dominant hand tasks just for self-training purposes. Since I started using Logitech Lift Vertical Left Handed Ergonomic Wireless Mouse (Graphite) with my left hand, the scrolling wheel works softly and smoothly, the mouse size fits my left hand perfectly, the left and right buttons are very responsive, moving the mouse on the mouse pad accurately acts on the computer screen. My left wrist feels normal. The price of $69.99 for this Lift Vertical Left Handed wireless mouse is acceptable, and I feel the nice quality and the well design of this mouse is worthy of this price. I will definitely purchase it again and I will recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first vertical mouse. I’m glad that I got the Logi Lyft instead of Logi MX Vertical. I have a smaller hand so this fits perfectly for my hand. It look me 2 to 3 days to get used to the vertical mouse. The buttons are quiet. You can customize the action buttons using the Logi Options+. I haven’t had any issues with my wrist hurting at the end of my work day.

I was looking for a 3 button mouse so that I would have access to an actual middle button. I use the middle mouse button a lot. 3 button mice are nearly non-existent, so I was excited when I found this one. Using a scroll wheel press for the middle button does not always work well. This mouse solves that problem with an actual middle button, and it works without special drivers. The mouse buttons can be programmed with the Evoluent software, but I am using it with a work computer that does not allow installation of any software other than a limited set of approved software, so it was important to me to work without special drivers. I also wanted to try a vertical mouse, and after a week of use, am very happy with it. My hand and wrist are feeling better using this mouse. There is a learning curve switching to the vertical mouse, but it was not that difficult.

My last mouse was a vertical mouse, but was finally wearing out after nearly a decade. This is a great replacement. I love the customizable buttons, and the finger grooves make for a great grip.

If any of you spend 8 to 12 hours a day editing or using any of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, you know how fatiguing a mouse in your hand all day can be. I was using the Logitech MX Master, which is a superb mouse. The only reason for the switch to this vertical mouse was because the area of my hand around the index and middle finger joints began to ache, constantly. As soon as I used the vertical mouse, the pain subsided. This mouse feels natural in the hand and it took only a short time to get used to it. This mouse functions flawlessly. One minor complaint, the placement of the two thumb buttons is too far of a reach and awkward. In order to make those buttons quickly accessible, they should be moved down and back toward the operator. One minor annoyance, my thumb is constantly reaching for a left/right scroll wheel that is not there. The MX Master has that wheel and it is extremely useful. Maybe Logitech will add a left/right scroll wheel and adjust the button placements in a redesign, but when will an upgraded new version be released? Until then, if your mouse is pulling you down the path of pain and soreness, clicking and dragging, jump on board with the vertical design and give this little mouse wonder a try. You'll be glad you did.
