Vertically Mounted Monitors

I got this stand a year ago for my Asus 27 inch monitors. I have one mounted horizontally and the other vertically. I've had no problems, so when I hired another accountant this year I bought him the identical setup.

I've mounted both on wall (vertically) and ceilings (horizontally) and the mounting easy and fast. LED Light can be turned off if desired. I have several access points on my property and I can stream or zoom/facetime while roaming the entire area without buffering or signal drop.

These are great in racks where a power management strip is mounted vertically at the rear of the rack, also great for tower/SFF computers on the floor plugging into UPS's or cube power outlets... If it can't be reached or come unbundled at the users feet, then they can't kick them loose!

Occasionally, you just need a small, wall mounted rack that can hold a few components, securely. This one is only 13U vertically (with a max mounting depth of 23”), but it has well ventilated (perforated) side panels and a smoked, tempered glass door. The front and rear of the cabinet are double hinged to allow access to installed equipment. A final bonus is that it ships fully assembled. Compact & simple!

This horizontal docking station is easy to use and is a better design than the units where the drive is mounted vertically. I've had two other vertical docking stations and they both quit working after light use.

We mounted a 55 display vertically and use it for digital signage. Signage app is running from a Raspberry Pi zip tied to the horizontal arms. The stand is sleek and elegant, and is tethered to prevent it from tipping. If it cost more I might have deducted a star (or half a star) because the collars (on the vertical pole) that support the TV can be a bit finicky, but once we got them secure they have stayed put. Bottom line is if we were to start over, we would buy this again.

Fast, reliable, well made and drive is mounted vertically - which from the hundreds of drives I've used over the years, means it will hold up better than horizontallly mounted drives.

I vertically mounted this mic on a wall in a medical treatment classroom. It was to be used to hear conversation and responses by an observer in an adjoining area. I needed something unobtrusive and with enough sensitivity to provide clear audio, but without too much ambient noise. The MX391 is small, and the white color helps it to become almost invisible on the wall. Being mounted above the heads of the students and staff, the cardioid pickup pattern works great and helps to reject sound reflection from the ceiling. I had to build a TA4M extension cable in order to reach a wall mounted I/O plate, and another TA4F cable to reach the preamp, which I mounted beneath a countertop at the audio mixer in the adjoining room, but everything worked well. I've been using Shure products for many years, and they have never let me down.
