The Ryzen 7 3700X is a wicked fast processor. It is not a Threadripper, but who could find/afford that (if you can, lucky you). It also ticks all the boxes for gameplay, video editing, and streaming. (The latter I have not at the same time.). As for gameplay and work (mentioned above) I have no issues with the card handling high for. (Your mmv depending on other system factors.) The CPU is cool paired with a Scythe Mugen 5 Rev cooler plus Noctua NFP-12 fan on the other side. Extra cool- . This Ryzen CPU DOES NOT have onboard graphics on the chip (and I will not deduct stars from it. - You will need a video card.) I have dyscalclia, so I cannot provide numbers, but I have been building computers since 1989 and I like the quick out of the box speed of the CPU. I have had no lag/strain/chugging/etc. as of yet on either of my R7 builds in the past months. I need to throw in a big 5 stars to B&H for quick processing and delivery of my order (with a holiday in the delivery schedule!) . The are quick, low shipping, and pack their products well. Back to the card ... I did try an Intel (borrowed from a friend) build of similar speed and performance to the R7, I did not like the performance and had some problems with video editing and some odd game lags that may have been flukes, but the AMD hasn't hiccuped once. I am pleased, very very pleased. (FYI, my R7s are paired with 1. X570-E Gaming MB, Asus OC GeForce RTX 3060Ti 8GB,. 2. ASUS B550-E Gaming MB EVA GeForce GTX Super 12GB. 5 |

Google the unbiased reviews on this CPU. For those who have a powerful video card, you might want to consider the F series that do not have onboard Intel Video. Outruns earlier gen i7 CPUs. Heat is manageable even with stock CPU. I use a tower cooler to get 90 degrees F (idle temp.) 5 |

This CPU is running quite smoothly and the on board graphics are fairly good for a non dedicated graphics card. 5 |

ok so I've had this CPU for a couple months now, running on a ASUS prime x570 pro.. I updated my bios installed CPU and boom it worked with out doing anything else .. this CPU runs excellent at stock settings.. I was able to overclock to 4.7 on air with about 1.4v also running a set of g-skill 3600 cl15 ram sticks @ 3800 cl 16 @1.45v and fclock at 1900... My fps jumped up about 30 fps from previous CPU in pubg used to get alot of stutter before now its running smooth vid card is radeon vii which needs an upgrade not really a great card for gaming.. 5 |

My 4090 arrived last Friday (10/02/2023) and I was able to install and get it running the next day. after working out some hiccups with my fingers bumping cords, I got everything working and was blown away by the results. while I knew the card would be bottlenecked by my aging CPU, the results still left my jaw on the floor. on average every game I played loaded faster, and looked better because of settings being maxed out, and when they ran at 1920p I got roughly 45-70fps, now at 4k with this 4090 I'm getting 160fps at the lowest (except in Star Citizen, which is getting 30-90fps on average at 4k). overall, I'm very pleased with this card and I can't wait to see what it can do when I'm able to upgrade the CPU. 5 |

This is my first AMD card. Matched up with the AMD 7950X 3D CPU, my system will handle anything that I throw at it! AWESOME is all I can say! I found this little device https://a.co/d/0KTrxa5 that supports the GPU without messing with that huge bracket. You know you want this card, go ahead and buy it! You'll be glad you did! 5 |

I paired this awesome card with a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Motherboard and new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU. The card replaced my old Radeon PowerColor RX 580 matched with AMD Ryzen5 3600 CPU setup. The difference is huge! Temps run low even under game load. It runs quiet even un 3D Mark Stress tests. And my FPS scores on 3D Mark tests are superb. Time Spy Extreme clocked in at 175 FPS at 1440P for example. I now routinely score between 150-250+ FPS at 1080P @Exteme and 80-100 FPS in 1440p. This setup is a flat-out breeze and killer for gaming @ ultra settings in 1080p/1440p. I haven't tested Ray Tracing yet. Visuals are the best I ever achieved. And I am a super happy camper. Service from B&H was exceptional. They delivered in 2 days with no extra charge. And overall packaging was excellent. I highly recommend this great AMD/Gigabyte card and B&H! 5 |

I added this into my Windows 7 4th Gen i5 movie server. It had trouble transcoding 4k videos on the fly (the CPU would peg at 100%). I added this card in and updated all the drivers. Now video transcoding is being offloaded to the card instead of CPU and I can now push multiple 4k files at the same time without breaking a sweat. Much cheaper than rebuilding the whole server with a new generation of CPU/MoBo/RAM etc. 5 |
