Video Editing Windows Laptop

Upgraded laptop from 8gb to 32gb for on-the-go video/photo editing.

I use it on a Windows PC in Raid O to get the most speed for video editing. You have to back up the drive for protection. I use a NAS to avoid any electrostatic discharge from USB ports. Look at QNAP for the NAS.

I use my new Mac Pro for both Video Editing, as well as software support on the web, (using Parallels and Windows). The pure power of this 8 core unit makes everything a breeze. I love it. I used an older G5 for years, but it's day had finally come, (and gone). Love my new Mac Pro.

Seamless integration with my Windows 11 laptop. Zoom connected to it and I was able to use my D780 for both audio and video with no problems.

Needed a webcam to replace the camera packaged with my Windows laptop. Getting much better video quality out of the box. The tripod is also a welcome addition. Great built quality. A bit disappointed not to have a USB-C connector option.

It is very useful to extend a Windows 10 laptop with a USB-C video output to two external 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitors along with other wired USB Type-A accessories like a keyboard and mouse. To have two external monitors, you must have Windows (not a Mac) and you must use the Mini DisplayPort output for one of the monitors with a cable that connects directly to a Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort input on a monitor. Also, make sure that you connect it to a USB-C port on your laptop that supports video output. I have a laptop that uses the integrated graphics of an i7-8550U Intel processor connected to 2 HP 2415U 1920x1200 monitors, one using HDMI and the other using the Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and it works great. This allows you to have a 3-display setup at work (including the laptop display) that only requires a single cable to connect and disconnect your laptop as you start and end your work day. It was 4 stars for me because all of this was not obvious and required some research and experimentation on my part, but now it is 5 stars now that I know how to use it for 3 displays. U til my laptop is noticeably slow. Time for upgrade and I have used this to improve my laptop performance. Once installed, I was right to use this, and I have noted significant improvement on processing, speed on apps, very low lag on editing video. I didn't have to buy a new laptop. Highly recommended

Fantastic laptop for all my medium scale video editing and music producing needs. Great for Power point and apple's Keynote as well! Love the small and light form factor!

Since I use a gaming laptop without a dvd player/recorder for video editing and recording, this external 4 port usb adapter makes it super for adding the dvd player. My laptop ports are already in use for other devices and gadgets. The expansion with added usb ports is very helpful.

I need a portable drive for video editing om Mac laptop. I fill up one of these every year or two. They work perfectly. (I buy cheaper 8TB WD drives to back these up.)
