I have 4 of the units. Easy to sync up all 4 using app on my phone. Never have I received a call from an editor saying the camera's time code was out of sync. 5 |

I use this drive for my FCPX video editor. It is fast enough to keep up with my 1920 x 1080 videos 5 |

I'm a video editor who works from a home office. If the power goes out, the computers and drives go down. Well, not anymore. The APC UPS has saved my skin many more times than I can remember. I have an Mac Pro trash can and 32 Terabytes worth of drives connected to it and it has not ever failed. In fact, I just purchased my second for another work station. 5 |

One of the most frustrating things about my MacBook Pro is that I'm always in need of adapters and extra ports. As a video editor, I have a million things plugged in at once. This USB-C dock is cleverly designed to fit snugly along the side of your Mac without sacrificing any ports, as it comes with two USB-C ones. It worked flawlessly and I love that it includes an HDMI port, so my old cables are given a slightly longer life. The only strange aspect of the design is that you need to insert your SD cards in upside down. I was a little confused when I first tried using it, but it's really not a big deal. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.] 5 |

As a long tim RX user (since RX version 3) and pro video editor who has to solve a bunch of audio issues, I find this invaluable, it is fast, easy, real time and has a low CPU hit. It is almost perfect. So glad I got it, get it and you won't regret it. 5 |

Use the custom buttons along with a BlackMagic Speed Editor for editing video in Davinchi Resolve. Works well. 5 |

I'm a video editor often filming 4k footage so this is super great to have. Got two sets (64GB) for my iMac and it's great! 5 |

I'm a video editor and I had been using SanDisk 4TB pro SSDs for holding my high res footage of a large editing project. When both SSDs failed in the first 6 months, I was done with SanDisk. I bought these OWC drives, which were a bit more expensive than the SanDisk. They have been incredibly solid and I have had zero issues. The construction is quite rugged while still being extremely portable. They're not as small and sleek as the SanDisk drives, but I have FAR more confidence in these drives. They feel really professional. I know that the people at OWC care about the quality of the items that carry their name. I couldn't ask for anything better. 5 |

As a cynical/snarky video editor I was looking for a drive that would perform well for a (7) mulitcamera HD edit. This drive was all that and more. What really threw me was the fact that it's the size of a Snickers candy bar! Dang it's small! It blows my mind that something this diminutive could perform so well. It was up to the task. The source footage (several 78 gig files) was copied off a PC. I then connected it with the provided Thunderbolt III cable to my new Mac Mini (3.2gHz 6-Core/i7/32gigs RAM/1 TB SSD). The drive was instantly recognized (no PC/Mac format issues) and off I went to work. The Helix Dura enclosure got warm but never hot where I was concerned. To be cliear I intentionally got the Dura version because the chipset is more robust and didnt want to risk any speed issues. I'm glad I did. Great drive. Bite! 5 |
