It just doesn't get any easier than this! Leveled up my audio game! Great clean audio, with controls right for my camera. Completely took the guesswork out of if I'm getting my audio on file with my video. Best feature, transmitters record right on the unit as a back up! Safety!

Make your A series camera more like a traditional video camera with these inputs and controls.

Fantastic camera that punches well above it's weight for video and holds its own for still photography. Ergonomically excellent and controls are intuitive. Couldn't be happier with it so far.

I use this for video with a Canon 7D. I am very saavy about the manual controls of the camera and lens. I got great shots in very low light (clubs) and outdoors during the day. I would reccomend this to anyone who knows a couple things about the Canon 7D's functions!! (thumbs up!!) BOKEH IS SUPERIOR!! NOt to mention PRICE!!!

This camera is a great choice for someone looking for superb video In a budget compact package. The manual controls are superb, I especially like the switch allowing you to switch between AF and MF, which is laid right next to your thumb. Overall, the controls are very well laid out. The LCD and EVF are clear and smooth, and the touchscreen controls work well. I find myself rarely needing to enter the menus, due to all the controls being on the body, even things like timer and time lapse. The lens is crisp, has nice feeling rings, and has good flexibility. My only complaint with this camera is the plastic mount on the lens. Mine is fine, but it makes me a little nervous.

I have no experience with DSLRs, so unfortunately I can't provide a review of this camera relative to other DSLRs. I can, however, say that I love it so far. The controls are intuitive and easy to learn, the photo quality is significantly better than my high-end point-and-shoot, and the video quality verges on movie-grade. The camera feels solid and well put-together, and it operates smoothly and precisely. My only complaint is that the zoom ring on the provided lens is a little sticky, making smooth zooms in video mode difficult. I've read that this problem goes away with use, though. To conclude, I'd highly recommend this camera to any beginner. You won't be disappointed.

For the price, this thing has saved me HOURS of video editing and have made our speakers more comfortable on camera. Controls light very well, and is very sturdy. Love it!

I bought this camera as the requisite new-father video camera. The low light capability on this is perfect for indoor baby footage. This camera is excellent for a home use or for basic amateur video production. It provides some manual controls when you need them, but the interface for these controls is too slow and clunky for full blown video production. It is small and light enough that it isn't tiring to hold and fits in my camera bag with my SLR, but large enough that it is easy to hold steady. The standard image stabilization is decent, but when you turn on the powered stabilization it is amazing (and battery draining). The only difference that I can find between this and the S20 is that the S20 has built in memory. The S21 introduces more memory and a viewfinder. Unless you need the extra memory, the S200 with some good name-brand is probably a better buy than the S20, but the S21 or S30 makes sense if you want a viewfinder. A larger/extra battery is a must in any good quality video camera these days, and this is no exception. I use SanDisk Ultra (class 4), which easily handle the highest data rate the camera supports (3MBps or 24Mbps). Faster cards may improve startup speed and other operations, but I haven't made any comparisons. I would definitely recommend this camera.

I have used game cameras before but have never tried a bird/close up camera like this. I found this to be a fun camera and useful tool to have. I got it to capture time lapse images of my plants and my farm. My goal is to do a time lapse video of my plumeria trees next spring when they come out of dormancy and start growing. The camera is really easy to set up and use. The hardest part is getting the focus set for the right distance of your target. They provide you with a measuring tape which comes in handy for this but I still had to do a few test shots to make sure the focus was correct. Even though Wingscapes gives you software for the time lapse video, I did not download it. I just used Microsoft Movie Maker instead to create the time lapse. There are also tons of cell phone applications that can do this. I am very happy with the purchase, it is exactly what I hoped it would be. Check out the attached video for more regarding how it works. I hope this review helped.
