WE ordered this for my company's professional video studio trying to get that overexposed white background that is so popular. It worked perfectly and looks great on camera. Heavy duty for years of use.

I used this in combination with an Impact background support system to achieve a white infinite background look for a client video, and it worked perfectly.Only needed two 750W Lowell Tota lights on either side and, with proper lighting and exposure on the subject, the background was completely blown out.At one point the bottom got dirty from the shoot, so I simply cut that section off and unrolled some more. Fast and easy.One recommendation is that because the roll is so long, rolling it back up is really a two person job...or maybe I just need more practice! Either way, it's large and can be cumbersome.But as far as the results, they've been great.

As everyone else here has said, this is an amazing piece of gear; so amazing that you wonder why no one else thought about it, or does it. I have been trying (admittedly sporadically and unprofessionally) to shoot high-key video talking heads with a pure white background (similar to the way all of those Apple product videos are done.) But no matter what I tried, with white pop-up backgrounds, white paper on a background roll, multiple light setups, etc. nothing ever looked remotely professional. I was resigned to shooting against a black background (which is much easier to not light, and covers a host of sins.) But then I found the HiLite here, decided to take a last shot, and went and picked it up at B&H, along with a five head CFL continuous light fixture. I brought it home, popped it out of its bag, and had it set up in less than five minutes. Stick the CFL head in the side, use a single variable intensity LED for light on the subject (me), and WOW. Absolutely perfect high-key video. Having the background back-lit takes care of everything, and all you need to do is set your exposure until it just washes out the back, leaving your subject perfectly illuminated by the front light. I cannot believe how good this looks, and how simple this is. If a pure white background is what you're looking for, this is clearly it.

I love this Background paper. Great for use in Photography and Video when you are looking for that seamless white space. I use it at home and bring it on location with background stands or Auto Poles. Fits in a standard SUV. Taken care of, it lasts many many shoots. Great price for something you can use over and over again. As usual, B&H shipping was super-fast and had no issues. Thanks.
