Video Projector Screen Lights Up But Blank

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us. 5 |

Our old extender was causing the image going to our projector to go blank for about 4 seconds at random times. I replaced it with the Ocean Matrix Extender and the problem went away. An added bonus is the HDMI feed through on the transmitter. This allowed us to hook up a small monitor so that we don't have to turn on the projector every time we want to setup our service. So far, so good! 5 |

You'll want to look elsewhere if you're looking for more inputs. The projector is limited to VGA, S-video and composite inputs. So no DVI, component, or HDMI inputs if you're looking for one. Despite this, if you're looking to simply give presentations and project still images, this is the projector for you. It packs a whopping 3500 lumens and 3000:1 contrast ratio that has been a great addition to our church services. We don't have to dim/turn off the lights during service to read lyrics and we can leave the bible passage up during the sermon with all the lights on in the room. 5 |

We received the Epson Duet Portable Projector Screen on Friday for a video presentation on Sunday. It is very easy to transport and set up. One person can manage the set up and take-down with little effort. The screen worked great with my HD projector. 5 |

We purchased this projector to setup a backyard theater (teens: movie/video games, sleep out in tent). Didn't want to spend a lot of money; however, wanted HD with an HDMI input. This projector fit the bill - affordable and bright enough to light an outdoor screen. Paired with a screen from Backyard Drive-In, it works beautifully. Easy setup, intuitive menus and excellent documentation. 5 |

This is my 1st set of LED video panel lights. Been thinking about getting some LED panels for a while. I love how the GVM lights comes everything you need. includes carrying case, stands, and etc. Make it so much easier for me to take with me on location for video shoots. The lights itself is very bright!!! There are 2 dials on the back of the each lights, control the Bi-color, and brightness. But for any of the RGB color controls, will require the cell phone app, and BT connection. This is something I wish GVM can improve in the future. Not everyone will like to use the app to control RBG colors. Wish there is a way to adjust the RGB without using the app. But overall this is a great set of lights, for lighting up at least 20' x 20' stage. This adds so much more production values to my videos. 5 |

Heard so much about this camera. I had the original fuji x100 (12 mp). Had to upgrade to bigger file size because I'm doing some wall prints. Instead of lugging around my 5D mk3 around, this camera fit the bill in: file size, image quality, quick handling and small form factor. Matter of fact, I'm so happy with this camera's performance, I'm thinking of using it as a 2nd camera for video shooting. The video features on this surpasses the 5D MK3, I think, notably the auto focus during video. Because of its light weight I'm using it as my stedicam camera. Some concerns. It is a consumer camera so I don't think its too durable. Its nicely made but not solid enough. But if it was more solid, it would be heavier which would negate its pocketable charm. Also, when you use a quick release plate on this tiny bottom area, it seems that there isn't enough surface area on the camera to securely attach the QR plate. Here's the big design flaw: So when you tighten the quick release on this camera, the rubber pad starts to grip the LCD screen to a point where you can't pop it out. I'm more concerned with putting upward pressure on the LCD screen like that. I pop the screen out then I tighten the QR plate. They should've made the frame of the LCD so so flush with the bottom of the camera. But once again, this camera was not designed to be used on pro camera support. But more of pros are using this camera. This says a lot about this camera. Good job Sony! Just upgrade few things like more durable body, weather sealing, and better means of coupling the camera I would pay more money for these features. 5 |
