Viewsonic Led Monitor Backlight Bleed On Right Side

The monitor came without any issues whatsoever - no dead pixels, no backlight bleed I'm able to notice under just about any conditions. I do wish B&H included a euro power plug which are used in my country instead of three (!) that don't fit, but changing the packaging is probably a real hassle, not taking any points off for that.

One of the best bang for your buck monitors out there! I honestly didn't expect to get this nice of a monitor for this price. I have owned it for about a month now and every time I sit down at my desk I thank myself for upgrading. I figured I would end up with at least 1 dead pixel and being an IPS panel I also expected a decent amount of backlight bleed but yet again, Asus has exceeded my expectations with ZERO dead pixels and very minimal backlight bleed :) I love the little opening in the stand, I usually hook my mouse cable to the back of the monitor but every once in a while it would catch on the back of my desk. If I route my mouse cable through the base and out of the front of the monitor it keeps the cable away from the back of my desk. Stop reading reviews and just buy it already! 1440p, IPS, 1ms, 165hz, G-Sync + ELMB at the same time, great color accuracy, and an extremely easy to use UI. What else could you ask for at this price range? Asus nailed it with this one!

No dead pixels, and only very very slight backlight bleed out the box. (The smallest amount of bleed I've seen in an edgelit IPS panel.) It's a good solid monitor with no real draw backs. Motion clarity fine, it's bright enough, and setting up g-sync was a snap. Two minor issues: Very far edges of the monitor on the left and right are a little dark, creating a vignette effect. This is pretty typical on monitors, but occasionally you'll see one that doesn't have this. The second issue is that the stand doesn't adjust downward enough for my taste, so I had to order a monitor arm. Neither of these are deal breakers, honestly I'm just glad I got a good monitor on the first try. LG quality is right up there with Samsung and Dell Ultra Sharp.

Just one problem minor backlight bleed but over all its a beast

The picture quality is stunning with vibrant colors and deep blacks. I can't detect backlight bleed or uniformity issues. The monitor itself looks nice and is well-built. I've compared it to new 4k monitors from Samsung and BenQ, and to my eyes, the LG wins easily. Service from B&H was great as always, and they really helped with all my inquiries and the delivery procedure to Canada.

The Dell U3223QE 4K monitor is near perfect. Excellent color reproduction, impressive contrast for an IPS panel, built-in USB-C hub - It's all here. I am 100% totally satisfied with this display. It's color saturation is very impressive considering it has an anti-glare reflective coating (I wish Dell would offer a semi-gloss option as that makes the colors really pop.) There is only one thing I can find fault in - In the lower left and right hand corners of the display there is slight backlight bleed, but this is inherent to all IPS panels and is not a deal breaker - pretty much all IPS panels are going to exhibit some type of backlight bleed. Other than that one small detail, this panel is PERFECT and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. I am VERY demanding of my equipment and this panel ticks all the boxes.

Right out of the mailing box, this felt nicer than other monitors I've seen for the price. One of the biggest appeals to me was the compatibility with both Sony-L series (NP-F) Batteries, as well as Canon LP-E6. I use both with my BMPCC4k, so this flexibility is fantastic. The folding sunhood doesn't seem very durable, but no problems with it yet. Any review you see on this monitor will tell you that it's great for the price, and I agree. There are three 1/4 mounting holes on the monitor: Right side, bottom, and top. I wish there was one on the back and left side, but for the price, I can't complain. As a result of the lower cost, this thing seems to be 100% plastic, so I dread dropping this thing from any height, especially if I have a battery on it. The features this has built-in are top-notch. False color, focus asist, histogram, waveforms, and more. Pair that with the touchscreen and menus, as well as the BMPCC4k's monitor settings, and you have a great little screen to use. It came with a mini-HDMI to fullsize HDMI, so be prepared to supply your own cable. There is a noticable delay between action and screen, but it's workable. The included cold shoe arm is all metal, except for the locking system to hold the monitor, which is plastic. The biggest sacrifices with this one is durability and delay. Otherwise, great bang for the buck.

I use this backlight a wall for Youtube videos. I just clamp it to an LED light and it looks great.
