Viking Tenor Saxophones

I have personally used the mic over the guitar amp and also to mic saxophones. 5 |

Took the a7c as my primary camera on a Viking River Cruise through Europe. It performed flawlessly, was light compared to my other Sony camera bodies, and with just a few prime lenses, was really all I needed. The longest full frame lens that I took was the 85mm f/1.8 and wish I had taken a longer full frame lens also. I did have Sony's RX100vii but I'm so much more comfortable shooting with the a7c body and also it's low light capability. Anyway, this is a review of the a7c and I strongly recommend it! 5 |

After purchasing a Viking range which does not have a timer and looking everywhere for a cooking timer (most are junk), it seemed only natural to use a GraLab product such as I have been using in darkrooms for perhaps a half century. As with all GraLab timers, this is a well engineered, user friendly, great product. Yes, it is overkill, but it just plain works. Now if only my cooking were as good as the timer.... 5 |

The NINA Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment thingey worked great for my tenor guitar but the mandolin still was not snug enough so I ordered a second set and wrapped them around the first and it fits great now. 5 |

I play tenor sax and wished I saw a review like this. The harmony portion is based on singer and key of c instruments. Just add two flats to music for Bb instruments in my case and diel in new key for all harmony presets including harmony pedal and it will be spot on. People love the effects it produces. I still have to do my part. 5 |

A friend was looking for a mic to use on his tenor sax, so we spent an afternoon trying out a bunch of mics I had around the studio. Surprisingly the 545SD made it all the way through to the final round (along with a few mics youd probably expect). Id say the 545SD in my experience is a bit brighter than the SM-57. Whereas the SM-57 can sometimes sound a bit tubby or honky on some instruments, the 545SDs tone works well when a slightly bright, clean tone is desired. 5 |

Very well built. Very stable and adjustable for different sizes of alto and tenor saxophone. Also adjust the height. 5 |

This is a nice, good-sounding mic; I have used it primarily for bass and tenor vocals so far. It has a very strong Figure-8 polar pattern, and the blue color is a bit more purple-grey than most pictures suggest. The included shock mount works well, and includes extra elastic and an additional screw thread adapter. My only (and minor) quibble is that the case has no easy place to stow the user manual; this is hardly a problem. 5 |

I could not believe how strong and great this case is. Very lightweight so it is one that I will use all the time. The inside is molded to fit the Tenor Ukulele perfectly, the inside compartment has enough room for all your little items and the outside one has a big enough pocket for an iPad. Sure if I was a traveling pro I would have a fiberglass one that costs hundred of $$. I will easily give this one 5 stars. 5 |

This pelican case was the perfect size to safely transport our son’s tenor sax without worry of it being damaged in any way. We used it to ship his vintage sax across the country for refurbishment and it made it to its destination with no problem! Pelican cases are virtually indestructible and you would be hard pressed to find a better transport container for almost anything! We used an electric carving knife to precisely cut out the pattern for his sax after we traced its outline on the foam. Came out much nicer than removing the foam cubes by hand! 5 |
