Using this to teach orchestra and private violin/viola lessons on video. Improved audio output dramatically. My son borrows it for online gaming and his fellow gamers all noticed the increase in clarity.

Although I do a lot of photo and video work, I also DJ weddings and private events. I decided that I would start using Pelicans for some of my DJ gear since they are so nice for my photo gear. The 1560SC has been perfect for my wireless mics, random accessories and for packing just about everything except the speakers, wires and my decks.

I recently became a private investigator and on the advice of others chose this camera. It is a great camera and takes awesome video. The zoom is great as well. I really haven't found anything yet that would be considered a con.

and I'd rather have a book I can hold forever than a Vimeo-streaming version for a 6 month pass.

I feel if I spend more time with it, I'll get even smoother shots, but I'm quite pleased with it right out of the box. It feels quite durable. It's got some heft to it, but not too heavy that you wouldn't want to bring it with you on shoots. And, it's compact enough that it won't take up much space with your gear or strapped to a pack. What I really like is that when its mounted on a tripod it expands to 2.5 feet. That's a nice amount of range for a slider that packs down to just over 1.5 feet. In short, it seems like a great bang for you buck. I've used cheaper sliders before. And the reason I'm not using those anymore is that they inevitably break. If you don't have the budget for a motorized system or just want a 2nd more portable slider, I highly recommend it.

We're using this to stream from a canon xa11 to Vimeo Live. It as simple as you can imagine and we've used it multiple times and it works seamlessly.
