Vintage Arcade Bowling Ball Machine Game

The well-made and sturdy, almost arcade game style push button knobs are a perfect companion to Adobe Lightroom. One of the most useful gadgets I have purchased. I use them in conjunction with all the other Palette products but they are maybe the most useful. I have set them up to 'Edit in Photoshop', 'Increase Rating', 'Crop Tool', 'Before/After' and 'Undo'. Once you get used to the new way of controlling your workflow, they rock!

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

This was for a vintage tripod I had to repair. (Machined a new bolt and everything....) Works just fine and looks good, too. This is a surprisingly nice little ball head. It feels well made, and the screw knobs are comfortable to grip. It pans nicely, and the ball locks down firmly. The plate also allows a few cm of slide forward and back. The level on the plate knob is a good idea, going to have to test that on uneven setups eventually. My ONLY complaint is that the mark for rotation angle is on the back side, for me, if the knobs are on my side of the head. Not worth making a fuss, but it would be better placed on the other side. Overall, I recommend it.

I bought one to use with an Induro BHL-1S ball head. I shoot with vintage twin lens reflex cameras and it is large enough that all four feet rest on the plate without twisting when in use so it provides great stability for the medium format cameras. If there is a drawback, it would be that one must use an Allen wrench or coin to tighten mount screw. It lacks the folding lever, which would allow one to mount it to a camera without tools.

I really like using this video head on my old vintage Vinten tripod with a 100 mm half-ball. It feels sturdier than the Manfrotto head that comes on a 75 mm half-ball. Also, it's easier to level because of the wider bowl. I really like a tripod that has a bowl. It's much easier to level the camera than adjusting leg length.

This machine is awesome. I was hesitant to purchase a computer with 16gb of ram but it's really fast and is a game changing piece of IT equipment.
